OP if you're referring to The Kakashi Anbu anime arc, remember that is all in Kakashi's head, and it's his own guilt making him see Rin like that.

Another example of this is when Itachi dies. Sasuke swore he saw Itachi die angry, until Obito urged him to think back, he remembered Itachi smiling, and saying his final words. Or it could've been when he slaughtered the clan and saw him cry about it, or both. Either way here are two examples.

Yeah a lot of readers would rather bash the Manga blindly, rather than really analyze some things. Though the Manga does have it's plot holes, I think people need to look at what they're reading a little more objectively before posting.
