Evolution is the correct answer but it generates problems like social darwinism, which is the idea of having an evoluted form of thinking or race, which I believe is wrong, since we're all humans we're all the same. But then again, isn't this idea of equality between living beings creationism? Yes.
not necessarily, at most creationists claim that evolution is unlikely, that it doesn't hold to any scientific standard enough to be considerd true. but no one has managed to disprove evolution completly. to me ken ham's biggest argument was that every dating methods we have is unreliable. so fossils might be younger then what we date them to thousends of years, but also older?
besides, i don't see why equal humans must be a divine concept to be true. i support that idea even if it was completly thought of by humans. every human deserves to live because thats what humans want, by divine order or otherwise. or maybe i'm just giving humans too much credit and without a guiding hand (even imaginary) they really will resort to chaos.
I frankly think that we're still a poor society in terms of scientifical and spiritual knowledge, so we should wait some hundreds or thousands of years to get an answer but I think I'm correct at saying that science and religion are binding every day more, just take a look at the concept of the big bang, the M theory, the ultra-string theory, and so on. Both science and faith could be right, couldn't they?
well history will disagree with you on that, while it's true that in the future everything can happen i think that in the end religion and science are too contradictory. they both suffer from the same problem, what is written in their book is the truth and the law, and everything contradicting it is automatically false. i think that what we really need some form of belief that isn't set in stone, and can change according to need and advancement. we live in a world where every halt is extremly destructive and halts happen because people are afraid to make changes.
i have only one law, you must never hurt another human being, physicaly or mentaly, directly or indirectly. everything else can change. i don't mind living in a world that pray to allah 23 hours a day and thinks that the sun rotates around the earth, as long as no one is breaking that law.
I wouldn't say pokemon's evolve; they metamorphisize.
But yeah, I believe in evolution, excluding humans of course ^_^"
wait, so how old do you believe the earth is? did animals evolve for millions of years but humans only a couple of thousands?
