Wild Hunt is vastly superior to either Night Raid or the Jaegers right now. They're fresh, and have taken no losses, unlike the other two groups. Dorothea isn't dying any time soon. ​

Pretty much my point and then you have Shura stating that they are a bit stronger than the Jaegers. Unless the Jaegers - excluding Ran obviously - and Night Raid team up, they can't take on Wild Hunt.

To be honest, I'm not sure if she'll actually join Night Raid or just go solo against the Empire and then sometimes team up with Tatsumi or somethin'.

To be honest, I'm not sure if she'll actually join Night Raid or just go solo against the Empire and then sometimes team up with Tatsumi or somethin'.

I can see it something along the lines of: She notices the defection of Kurome and Wave which pretty much leaves the Jaegers with no one, and finds out why. She learns of Shura's group and what they've been doing, and comes across Tatsumi once more. Instead of being loyal to the empire, she views the empire as corrupt like many others, and will only join Night Raid on Tatsumi's behalf.

Needless to say, I would be on Cloud 9.

Tatsumi isn't a good leader. He himself kind of admitted it. And Akame is the second-in-command anyways.

I agree. That makes sense, as we would get to see Shura's abilities that supposedly put him on her level, and it would be an epiphany for her, that now she knows she isn't all powerful, she'd need more support, and Night Raid is the last option left.​

She might, just simply because it would come as a shock to her. But I'm unsure about that. I agree with the leader portion though. Esdeath as leader, with Akame, Kurome, Rabac, Wave and Tatsumi is a formidable team, and it wouldn't be an "asspull" for them to defeat Wild Hunt in a full scale battle as they look plenty powerful on paper and in practice.​
