Would you be surprised if Sasuke got SM?

I wouldn't be really. And it's not because 'everybody is getting it', it's because I can actually see it happening.

imo if the man is Kabuto he's obvi gonna give him some sort of powerup with his revival. I don't know how he's going to do it, but I'm sure some new Rinnegan tech (assuming sasuke gets it) will allow him to 'copy' and 'analyze' how to absorb natural energy and properly use it, similar to how sharingan can 'copy' and 'analyze' chakra based techs and then gain sm.

If not that, then someway or another he's going to get it.

Not at all, don't forget that Sasuke was well accustomed to using his own curse mark, a down-graded form of senjutsu. That and the fact that Orochimaru himself wanted to learn senjutsu but didn't have the body for it. Yet he seeked out to get Sasuke's body, did he just plan on giving up on SM after getting Sasuke's body? I highly doubt it, I think Oro felt he could have obtained SM in Sasuke's body.

His body has been compatible with senjutsu and housed it perfectly in the past(Cursed mark).
The snakes respect him; Even aoda calls him lord - we've only ever seen these beasts respect people who've mastered somethign related to them, like katsuya with tsunade/sakura and their byakugo. Or bunta with naruto/minato.

He has more foreshadow than minato at this point and minato pulled SM.

If he uses SM during the fight with Madara I'm calling bullshit because then he would not have had to rely on Jugo's senjutsu fighting Obito. If he learns it anytime after the war nah I wouldn't be surprised at all

You're using curved logic.

You say Sasuke never trained, so it would be surprising.
But Minato never trained, yet you say 'he should at least be able to take in natural energy'.

Why is it okay for one person to not show training, but just 'be able to do it', and the other person not?
