I was doing a little research in Naruto manga and I believe Sasuke can still keep track on Naruto in Base sharingan because he was able to keep track of about 40+ shiriken/kunai flying towards him from Itachi within some minutes/seconds.Sasuke did hit all or most of the kunai on point and his reflexes he use to counter each kunai/shiriken were perfect.

So base on past observation, Sasuke have the reflexes require to counter a BM naruto/ftg user speed. The only reason why he did not catch up to Killerbee swords combo at his lure, because Sasuke was recovering from past injures from dediara and itachi. In addition ,Sasuke and taka mission were to capture killerbee (not to kill him).

The Sharingan and FTG:

FTG is instant, there is nothing to track. However, you can track the Kunai and get an idea of where he may appear.

The Sharingan and BM Naruto:

Sasuke's sharingan had a hard time tracking one tail naruto.

Nope in the very same picture Sasuke failed to see Itachi wave hand signs for a shadow clone.

wrong. the sharingan tracked him fine, sasuke just couldn't track the movement of naruto's chakra. the reason is because chakra has no muscles and the sharingan reads muscle movement

Wait are you comparing something like ftg which is instant and shunshin that sasuke has previously shown not to be able to predict to some shuriken that were thrown? How does that even relate? Just cos he can keep track of many objects travelling much slower doesn't mean he can keep up with one object much faster.

There's still the age old issue that his eyes might keep up but his body can't reacting in time as well....

you said sasuke couldn't track naruto, that was incorrect. sasuke could track naruto's movement fine, it was the extra attack without muscles that he couldn't predict.

that has nothing to do with this thread. Naruto's BM movement uses muscles, so it can be tracked

Incorrect, I said:
Sasuke's sharingan had a hard time tracking one tail naruto.

Also, you're wrong again. Naruto in BM mode has extended his chakra for MMMMMAAAANNNNYYYY attacks.

that has nothing to do with this thread. Naruto's BM movement uses muscles, so it can be tracked
I didn't specify why he had trouble tracking him, you inserted that on your own.

Didn't the sharingan have trouble tracking Lee's base speed?
