Question about Sharingan and Genjutsu

I don't know if this even exists or not but a few people have told me that there is a scan where itachi stated that a sharingan's ocular genjutsu won't work or have less effect on a person who has a higher level sharingan evolution... I think itachi stated something like this a while ago but I don't remember.. So if this scan exists, can anyone tell me what the scan is or shed some light on it?

So kind of. The Sharingan can inherently see through Genjutsu, but the Rinnegan has no feats as of yet.

Dunno, seeing as pein was only caught in a sound genjutsu I think that highly implies normal genjutsu is just as ineffective on it as it is with any normal sharingan. also it wouldn't make sense seeing as rinnegan is the next step of sharingan past EMS, and has already been confirmed to be able to see chakra.

case and point Sasuke VS Itachi. Yes I know Itachi let Sasuke win. But he didn't Let Sasuke break out of Tsukuyomi. Sasuke only had 3 tome then and broke out of an MS technique.

Rinnegan by itself has no proved resistance to ocular genjutsu. In nagato's case It even failed to detect chakra clones or SM naruto in darkness.
However in case of uchiha it acts as just another set of abilities to those of sharingan imho.
