Love the way people like Miantor93 is trying to take this piss out of Itachi fans saying gen one shots. Isn't this the same guy who was wanking off Kakashi's Kamui sooooooooooo hard....U_U.
OT: It goes either way, Itachi has no counter for CT while Nagato can't counter KA.....I think somebody correct me on that.

If nagato a attempts itachi in wards he can simply counter via sussano rib cage with a arm extension[
And offensive damage can tanked via sussano such as shinrei tensei, the only thing nagato has going for him is CT and his summmons and his sensing abilities.

. Itachi already exploited the use of gravity control when it comes to pulling it other objects demonstrated when he along with bee and naruto destroyed CT. Wow, good Lord, have you learnt nothing from the manga? It only works on Minato.
Sharingan isn't a water down version, it is literally a complete doujustu.
It's like comparing sharingan to Byukagan, Byukagan destroys sharingan in taijustu as sharingan is superior in genjustu than the rinnegan.
The sage is both uchiha and senju, so genjustu a like tsukyomi will not affect him at all.
(That and he had omyoudon, which renders any Justu useless)
People argue that the 5-6 elements Nagato mastered makes an automatic counter to any genjustu itachi had to offer.
Well if you ask yourself, if Jiraiya implied that he mastered yin yang release, why did he get caught in jiraiya's genjustu?
He even stated that genjustu was his only means of beating Nagato too (something like that).
Itachi did say, only those with the sharingan and uchiha blood can resist my genjustu.

The whole "Kabuto was controlling Nagato" is just an excuse people make to keep Itachi fanboys from going nuts. He beat Nagato in three moves.
Fukusaku made it clear that Nagato's weakness is genjutsu. Guess what Itachi's specialty is? Genjutsu.
Kabuto even understands why Nagato lost to Itachi. ^^

If its not a leveled up shringan then how do you explain Madara Uchiha's sharingan leveling up(through injection of Hashirama Senju's DNA into his body) into the rinnegan? After all pain's rinnegan are madara's eyes

When adding senju and uchiha blood, you awaken a completely different doujustu.
When Madara uses genjustu, does he use EMS or Rinnegan?
Even Byukagan was rumored to derive off the sharingan, it's still a different doujustu with different properties.
to me thats like saying Sharingan isnt MS. its just higher version of the same doujustu, or are you implying the sage of six paths couldnt use genjutsu as well as an uchiha? It just that in the current era of the naruto world you need both Uchiha and Senju blood to awaken it since both uchiha and senju blood has become diluted over the years due to the infighting between the sages sons which lead to the creation of two clans in perpetual war thus leading to the dilution of their original blood line power and the creation of the sharingan(a downgraded rinnegan). To support this view I present this scan of the manga stating the son that started the uchiha had his fathers eye's meaning rinnegan not sharingan

i wonder if sauske banged tsunade or more realistically karin(as she is uzamaki like pain) if his kid could have rinnegan since he would be part uchiha and part senju ahahahahaha
Also madara hasnt been shown using rinnegan for genjutus becuase he didn't unlock them until was old and near death(no longer fighting), and after he did unlock them he didn't keep them very long as he transplanted them into nagato sometime before telling obito about him, as shown in the genjutsu flashback scan in my earlier post.

The sage had is uchiha and senju, by genetics he can overcome tsukyomi.
The sage had the power of omyoudon, he can create any ninjustu and genjustu from yin yang release.
Madara never shown using genjustu through rinnegan, show me a scan of him using rinnegan genjustu.
There are properties that each doujustus can and can't do...
Like a ms can't copy Justus, only 3 tomoe can..
EMS is the one that allows you to use perfect Susanoo, not Ms.

Rinnegan is an evolution that specializes in ninjustu that sharingan can't have and vice versa.
You can't compare the sage and his sons too Nagato, they are uchiha and senju...
Nagato can't utilize the full power of the rinnegan, which also brings us to the point that he could not counter Jiraiya genjustu... Twice.

Madara was using EMS when he put Ay in genjutsu, not Rinnegan.
Nagato's weakness is genjutsu, Itachi specializes in genjutsu.
Itachi wins.
