It was dumb in my opinion, if he had sage mode then why not use it when they discovered that senjutsu could hurt obito? See, kishimoto has to explain why he didn't use back then.

Minato already said he's taking a backseat to the fight and naruto and friends won in the end. Plus I dont think he can use bijuu sage mode cause he and his kyuubi dont have the connection as naruto and his. Kyuubi doesnt like sharing with hermit power

By that logic then obito should plant his sharingan to naruto so he could unlock kamui then get that sharigan removed and get his eye back and get sharingan powers right?. NO.

Sorry but I'm going to have to side with iNotorious on this subject. I keep seeing people say it was foreshadowed during the Pain Fight, but be honest:

When that vision of Jiraiya and Minato showed up with Naruto leading in front. Did you or anyone else honestly think that Kishi was trying to foreshadow that Minato had Sage Mode?

Seriously, what would have been the point of foreshadowing something like that 150 chapters before it is debuted only to have it shoved right back in his face? Really? Kishi foreshadowed somthing so long ago then decided that he was going to have Madara one shot it? Really?

I seriously find that logic hard to believe.
