Potential Way to Explain Minato SM?

Seemingly a plot hole. It seems to say that only Jiraiya and Naruto can use SM. HOWEVER, what its really saying is only they have large enough chakra reserves to harness natural energy. Now we know Minato trained with the toads and Jiraiya was his sensei... My theory is that he attempted sage training and made progress, but was anable to master it due to insufficient chakra reserves. NOW however in an edo body chakra reserves are not an issue! See where I'm going with this?

It was dumb in my opinion, if he had sage mode then why not use it when they discovered that senjutsu could hurt obito? See, kishimoto has to explain why he didn't use back then.

I think he always had it. Minato is very perceptive so he knew he did not need sage mode for tobi. He beat him in like 2 moves. And he knew without wood style you could not stop the kyubi so he sealed it away. He was'nt going to waste chakra on a power that would no have helped.

As for the juubito fight plot made him leave it to the youngsters remember. Plus he cant use bijuu sage mode so he left it to naruto.

I do see where you are going with this. Like his Jinchuriki status or Madara gaining the Rinnegan, it is something he couldn't acheive until death occurred? Still my biggest pet peve about it is that it should have stayed between Jiraiya and Naruto. They keep giving Minato ALL of Naruto's abilities that he's worked so hard to achieve and master. It totally craps on Naruto's hard work and experience when his dead father appears on the field and suddenly can do everything Naruto does dispite being trapped in the bell of the Shinigami for 16 years. I wish Kishi would stop doing that.

What's next? Is Minato gonig to toss a Rasenshuriken using his feet?

I don't think you are correct, because being an edo tensei doesn't give you larger chakra reserves it just makes you unable to run out of chakra. So minato still shouldn't be able to use sage mode even if he was an edo tensei. Kishi just decided to give it to minato.

There's so many questions and not answers yet. I hope he doesn't avoid the SM minato next chapter.

When you think about it toad sage never mentioned minato to naruto. Probably under hokage request. Naruto did not even notice minato signature on the contract. If you ask me I say kishi just left his options open just in case because minato true potential was always a mystery, much like all past hokage.

I think he has enough chakra. He is a genious after all and he did teleport tge kyuubi and use ftg multiple times.

kishi will not explain it,or madara susano'o thing as he already had previously in the manga. He loves to play with words and that's basically what he did in the past.

See what he did there,he never said once that you need your eyes to use the technique but to unlock them. Susano'o is just yin or some spiritual energy stuff explained in manga.

Minato already said he's taking a backseat to the fight and naruto and friends won in the end. Plus I dont think he can use bijuu sage mode cause he and his kyuubi dont have the connection as naruto and his. Kyuubi doesnt like sharing with hermit power
