The Gokage vs Spiral Zetsu

Did the manga not show the Gokage failing to take down Spiral Zetsu? Or am I missing some important details here?

Coming to think of it, it seems quite unreal that Gokage with the reast SA were unable to take him down, but Orochimaru, along with his subordinates did it. I know that A>B>C logic does not work in this manga, but still...

I'm sure manga showed Spiral Zetsu dominating the kages, aside from gaara. Mini Buddha + spores would be too deadly for the kages.

I was thinking the same thing!!!! I was like DId that shit not happen? lol Granted Gaara wasn't there though.

They did sort of get owned in canon.

My thoughts exactly, lol but Drae I doubt gaara would do anything significant to help, flight maybe? The statue was draining chakra on contact so I dont see the sand being effective offensively.

OT: So yeah the gokage are getting smacked around atm, nothing currently changes the outcome.

You really think they exhausted themselves pulling the Bijuu out of Obito? That is nothing but them showing how difficult it is. In no way do they show exhaustion nor would this cause lasting effects on their ability.

They were attacking the god tree. Tsunade summoned the slug and healed the alliance. Not to mention they weren't at 100% when they arrived.

The Shinsuusenju already slapped around Mizukage & knocked back the Raikage.

Those are still too less feats to defeat the Gokage. Hiruzen alone was able to stop all 5 element attacks, five Kage could deal with them simply, Gaara's sand would suffice. As for the punches, those were merely some taijutsu moves to try out the thing's power.

Um the combined forces of the Kage can pull this off but largely because of the amazing teamwork skills and combos they were showing in the Madara fight. Spiral Zetsu might not push them that far but I feel A and Onoki are the keys to winning this one.

A can literally appear right behind the statue and smack Spiral Zetsu out of the air in a second. Too much opportunities.

Add Spiral Zetsu all of Madara's Mokuton techniques.

Now I'm not sure, if he had all of base Hashirama's feats, he'd win comfortably but Madara's mokuton feats aren't as great. He does have flower tree world, wood clones, jukai koutan and wood dragon but I'm not sure how his stamina compares to Hashirama or Madara. Anyway because of these new feats you are giving him, I guess he could pull it off high difficulty.

They fought the God Tree before pulling out bijuu which is supposed to drain a lot of chakra. I know none of the kages got hit by it but Tsunade would have sent her chakra to the rest of the ASF to restore them hence the Gokage's main battery was not at full chakra. Also I doubt the Gokage were fully rested after Madara's fight so they most likely didn't start at full chakra.

As for pulling the bijuu out of the Juubi jinchuriki, it took quite a bit of strain on all of them and I've never seen any ninja use that much effort in doing something. The next time we see the Alliance, they can't even properly cast techniques, this implies they had already exhausted themselves.

? The alliance couldn't have used their full power and feats contradict Onoki's statement or else the alliance would have gotten annihilated by the Juubi in seconds if they couldn't hold their own against Zetsu's Shinsusenju.
