Minato using Sage Mode while alive

Do you think that Minato could enter Sage Mode when alive? Should it be added to his "alive" skills/arsenal when debating in Versus threads?

EDIT: Do you think it would make any difference if he DID have it whilst alive?

why not. Minato has skills , chakra reserve and he is very bright at figuring out jutsu , its mechanism and apply it .
The person who could create rashingan, master FTG and complex uzumaki skill will have no difficulty learning SM.

Even naruto had more difficulty learning Rashingan than SM. Minato will definitely learn it quickly. =D

It could count but it won't do anything. He already has maximum speed, his techniques don't use strength, and he has no lack of chakra. He could use it for sensing but apart from that his other abilities cover everything else.

Yes he could use sage mode while alive.. he had to have trained how to control nature chakra and he had no chance to do that whiles dead or an edo..

Sage mode does change a lot..

increased power of jutsu thanks to senjutsu
increased durability
the ability to use nature energy with hand to hand combat
additional sensory abilities
Increase Strength - more strength to thrust a rasengan through someones skull..

this is actually a much better power up than KCM which overlapped alot with his base skills already

This and the fact that his Senjutsu-based Rasangan didn't do much to Kakashi leads me to believe he isn't climbing a fruity pony, just yet.

2. he died sealing the 9 tails so no bijuu mode
3. he only got sage mode by learning from naruto
watching from inside his mind, in all the major battle while alive we've never seen
it , further more the toadsage said it was only jman and naruto can use S.M
no mention of the 4th .
