Madara's outer path, restrained 9 Bijuu at once and pulled them inside Mazo, it can manifest Black Zetsu, it can effected the vital Chakra points and immobilize the movements of people with powerful Chakra. That is far above Obito's and Nagato's.

Madara had SM for bijuus. Even nagato via pein could restrain SM jiraya with just one rod. They were immobilized due to pressure points.

The hell? Obito controlled 6 of them and fought another 2 , plus 2 kage levels for distraction and yet w/o amplifying himself with gedo.

Hashirama told him not to touch it because he doesn't know what it could do to sasuke. Sasuke grabbing it with Susano'o is not the same as grabbing it with his hands, far from it.

The Rods are stuck into Hashirama's Chakra networks, Making him immobilized and unable to form chakra, Sasuke Using his Susano'o to pull them out wont do anything to sasuke because they arn't bulged into his chakra network, All sasuke would suffer is some chakra being absorbed by it which is easily avoidable by abandoning his Susano'o like i said earlier.

IKR. There were so many options. Even if he couldn't use susano, he could have just burnt Hashirama with amaterasu. He'll regenerate without the rods.
