Can Kid Itachi Beat Kid Gaara

by kid i take it you mean part one in which the were 12 or 13, Itachi was already Anbu Captain at that age for a reason. Itachi > Gaara , Sasuke even had Gaara beat in the chunin exams until gaara went ape shit, personally dont think it would have got that far against Itachi

Can't keep up with his speed and tactics did he even have ftg at that time? If not ill refer to the naruto sauske fight at the VOTE clearly if a 3 tomoe sauske can keep up with narutos speed there then speed is pretty much a non factor against any uchiha with 3 tomoe and tactics I don't believe itachi and minato are in the same league imo itachi is level 10 minato is level 8 and that's rounding up I really want to say 7.6

There are a lot of variables to consisder. Honestly I can see it going either way,we aren't sure of itachis exact capabilitys at that age. They were only vaugely hinted at. We do know that gaara was a bloodthirsty little tot. Genjutsu most likley wouldn't work seeing as how I'm shure shukaku would disrupt it

If gaara goes for an instant kill he might take it,but if he toys with itachi I see it going down hill for gaara. Giving a genius time to think is not a good idea.

lol u are in denial. look at the battle between lee and sasuke. sasuke couldn't land even a single punch to lee. Just having sharingan don't mean u can react and respond to an attack. Minato didn't had FTG but he was very very fast .Minato even in such a young age defeated those elite grown up ninja. Itachi at that age will be playing football with other kids than fighting other ninjas.

I think you are underestimating Itachi a bit. I really don't think Kid Minato would win against Kid Itachi, unless Mi ato was already utilizing flying thunder god at that age.

OT: Itachi VS Gaara (kids) Itachi wins this and looses this. Gaara is no perfect jin sure. But Shukaku would not let Itachi beat gaara as Gaara is his vessle. Sure Itachi's sharingan is capable of subduing a bijuu, but the question is, at that age, would he know to do it? Especially if Shukaku keeps him pressed in battle and fatigued?

Ultimately I say Itachi's best bet would be what he does best, genjutsu in order to win this. So Itachi High difficulty gets this one.
