So recently, I've started to think about Obito and what he had to go through his whole life. And I must say, I'm starting to feel more sympathetic toward him plus his reasoning for his ideals. While he definitely hasn't had it worse than other shinobi, he's had to deal with his own load of horseshit. To those out there who believe that Obito is just doing this for a girl, that's not the full story. There's more to it than you think, and thats what I'm about to explain. I'm pretty passionate about this stuff, so yeah I'm gonna be quite in to this lol.
But anyways, it has more to do than just a girl. He's a shinobi. One that hasn't seen his parents, was overlooked by EVERYONE in his village because he was a bit of an idiot, and even among his friends (Rin and Kakashi), he was simply a third wheel. Through all of that, he cared about them (Rin more than Kakashi) because he had a kid's crush on her, but cared for both of them nonetheless. At the age of 13, he is put on the frontlines of a full scale war, where he watches gruesome deaths of his comrades and others, and is nearly killed himself. That alone would drive a normal person to their brink. Then, just as he thinks he's about to return to the way things were before the war, he breaks out of that cave Madara had him in, and the first thing he sees is his best friend killing his childhood crush. He snapped. That was just it. He was done with everyone and everything. This was not all for Rin. Rin was the final straw in a long line of bullshit.
Not to mention he realizes Madara has just been using him the whole time, and the dream they apparently shared is now being left to Madara, with Obito being cast aside...
Again, others have had it worse in Naruto, but it's understandable why he would come to the conclusion of Tsuki no Me. What are your views on this? Is Obito justified in his ideals? Not justified?
