Mega Evolution Tier List

My list:

Suuupaaa

You must be registered for see images

Tyranitar. (Always been strong)
Garchomp. (Loses speed but gains attack and bulk)
Kangaskhan. (Dat double hit.)
Alakazam. (Best revenge killer ever)
Mewtwo. (I don't think I need to explain. Y is superior. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
Blaziken. (Speed boost + Swords Dance = GG.)
Gengar. (Debatable because it's quite fragile)

Mid

Venusaur. (Thick Fat is an awesome ability)
Aggron. (High attack and defense, plus Filter)
Charizard. (Y is once again better. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
Pinsir. (High attack and cool ability)
Gyarados. (One Dragon Dance and he's hard to put down. Unless you have swag like me)
Aerodactyl. (High attack and speed, but can't take hits)
Scizor. (Lacks speed)
Heracross. (Also lacks speed, but has insane attack)
Medicham. (200 base attack is nothing to laugh at)
Absol. (High attack, but not very impressive at other fields.
Lucario. (Adaptabilty and pretty good stats.)
Gardevoir. (Nice ability and good special attack, but fragile)


Low

Abomasnow. (Low speed and low bulk, without insane attack or special attack)
Blastoise. (Yeah..no...)
Ampharos. (Nice ability, but I fail to see how it benefits him. It has good special attack, but nothing else.)
Houndoom. (Best design IMO, but bad stats)
Mawile. (It's only use is being a late game sweeper in Trick Room teams)
Manectric. (It simply does not match up to the other mega's)
Banette. (Awesome special attack, but other stats are very bad. It's ability Prankster seems out of place too)

Yeah I was wondering about Lucario. But Tyranitar and Alakazam do deserve their spot.

Tyranitar is a pseudo legendary who could easily sweep with or without mega evolution.
Alakazam does not have to worry about entry hazard, and has incredible speed and special attack. It can function as both sweeper or revenge killer.

Yeah I was wondering about Lucario. But Tyranitar and Alakazam do deserve their spot.

Tyranitar is a pseudo legendary who could easily sweep with or without mega evolution.
Alakazam does not have to worry about entry hazard, and has incredible speed and special attack. It can function as both sweeper or revenge killer.

I haven't gone up against many Mega-Alakazams, but the ones that I do have a lackluster performance. Also, he loses his invulnerability to entry hazards once he mega evolves!

You have to know how to use him I guess. His STAB Psychic OHKO's a lot of pokemons, especially after using Calm Mind.

True. Doesn't really matter though. I mean it's a nice ability but not nessecary lol. And Trace is pretty good too.

I agree on Kangaskhan.

Shadow tag is nice, but Gengar is way too fragile. Any focus sash or fast choice scarf user can take him out. The good thing about Gengar was Levitate, and it loses that in Mega form.

Lucario can be easily taken out by fire or earth attacks. I genuinely never had any trouble battling against Lucario.

Mega-Alakazam was one of my first mega Pokemon that I trained as an M-Evo and although it does fill the role as the revenge killer quite nicely, I wouldn't use M-Alakazam over a normal Alakazam which can take advantage of a sash. It also loses Magic Guard in favour for Trace when it mega evolves which in most cases is just trash. To put it in the same tier as the broken Gengar and Kangaskhan just seems wrong.

Lucario and Pinsir are both pretty dangerous and shouldn't be underestimated, with Adaptability and Aerielate respectively, their STAB priority moves along with their ridiculously high attack stat is a force to be reckoned with. If you allow them a swords dance, there's not an awful lot that can stand in their way.

Mawile should also be with the aforementioned two, since it has the same sort of niche. Huge power Mega-Mawile and Sucker Punch, it hits like a truck.

Some of these megas aren't "useless" but if you play them right, you can win the match with them. Trick Room Ampharos doesn't play around and Prankster Banette can at most go one-for-one with priority destiny bond.

The entire concept of digi-evolutions is garbage, Also Pokemon like Manectric, Houndoom, Absol, Banette, Ampharos needed real evolutions, Not this bullcrap.
