If as it appears he can activate senjutsu in a moment as a appears to be. Which is far far superior to Jiraiya's mastery of the mode that's its like a mirror of Naruto's own abilities. Then there was NO reason for him not to use it in those instances its a KISHI mind fart. Retcon alert.

Maybe because in none of those previous situations did he have time to gather natural energy? The stare battle with BZ Obito instead gave him plenty of time to do it.

Bullshit stop justifying, minato was just moving around the last few panels, he was not meditating, he can match Naruto's feat of entering sage mode in moments, he had plenty of time to use his mode in the previous instances.

form he can use it because he doesn't lose chakra which means his own infinity chakra.

I dont feel like standing still long enough for the first time, is the reason why he used it in this chapter.
Minato had time to stand still long enough in previous battles, where SM would have been a great help.

Maybe he is not good enough at SM to combine it with a Kurama chakra mode.
Maybe he has some other limitations that we dont know, which could explain why he didnt use it
before in battles like vs Obito and Juubito.

Instant SM is indeed a plothole, deal with it.

There is no plot hole Naruto surpased both Jiriya and minato in using it. Minato obviously couldn't use both Sage mode and biju mode at the same time unlike Naruto hence he had to use what was available to him in the obito fight. Naruto on the other hand can switch to either and even combine them. Minato has far less chackra naturally than Naruto so its always a risk using sage mode thats why 16years ago he did not risk using it against obito and why he didn't need it, the only thing that mattered in that fight was speed and he had it. Its obvious that Minato had sage mode why all the surprise?

Can you think of a reason??

Its still fricken senjutsu and he entered the mode in moments, he would still retain the boost to his ninjutsu even if he hadn't mastered any other aspects of it.
