Minato did stand still for a good amount of while, so he may have been able to gather it. I mean Sage Mode isn't really fit for him, seeing how his strength comes from his speed and movement.

I really don't see why Minato needs SM. He has enough speed, strength won't help him much. He never lacked chakra from what we've seen. The only reason why he used it it so it would affect Madara.

Still Madars totally destroyed him so why giving Minato an unnecessary feat, that he doesn't need?

form he can use it because he doesn't lose chakra which means his own infinity chakra.

He did master it but not at the level as naruto.
Being and EDO it does not increase the chakra reserves of a person instead replenishes it faster.

Not gonna lie, Minato is one of my favorite characters, but truth be told, these latest chapters actually made me appreciate him even more because he's not perfect. Being a fan doesn't mean believing he's the strongest character there is in the whole series.
