Well Itachi did have the opportunity to sit back and watch the fight since kabuto had nagato focus only on Bee and Naruto and completely ignore Itachi.
Neither kakashi nor anyone else had such luxury when going up against Nagato/Pein. Analyzing a Jutsu is far easier when you aren't being pressured in combat
Kakashi actually did have the chance to look and not be in the battle. 1 Where he used a clone and Chouza and Chouji came, and the other one where he was fighting with the regular shinobi. Plus, Kakashi almost always, if not always has a team.
Kakashi, itachi and minato are in the same league...minato figured out kamui and counterattacked in seconds, while it took konan her life time, and took kakashi, guy, bee and naruto very long....minato is very good i tell you
You really should sometimes allow them to continue a thread for a while before stomping it mercilessly.
Jokes aside, I still think it's pretty solid that Kakashi takes it, after all.
True, he temporarily forgot about Rinnegan shared vision, but hey, no one is perfect.
And if anything, that doesn't take away from his analyzing skills, it would rather count as... hm... memory? Lol
The fact of the matter is, cracking Obito's Kamui secret was much more difficult than figuring out that a gravitational pull will pull attacks as well. Kakashi has feats AND hype to be the most analytical, while Itachi only has feats that are arguably less impressive than Kakashi's.
Plus, Kakashi outsmarted Itachi. That's also not exactly analytical skills, but rather battle smarts, but just a mention of it.
So, let's get to it:
Hype:
Naruto hyped Kakashi:

Kakashi hyped himself (and he is modest after all )

Itachi hyped Kakashi:

Guy hyped Kakashi, but Bogard already showed the scan.
Feats:
Seeing through Itachi's bunshin, while Itachi didn't manage to see through Kakashi's on either of two encounters:

Cracking the five second interval of Shinra Tensei without which Naruto would not defeat Pain:

Cracking Obito's space-time ninjutsu completely (not just stating that Obito materializes to attack):

Read my post again, because I edited it to add my three cents.
As for the rest:
Kakashi took longer than Minato because he didn't fight him directly. Also, as opposed to Minato, Kakashi cracked it completely.
Obito didn't take "precaution" with Itachi. I could write a long post about it, but to make it short, I will just say Obito had no reason to kill Itachi, who, even if not loyal, was still a useful asset to Akatsuki - he stalled jinchuuriki rescue team, infiltrated Konoha, accompanied captures of bijuu, helped with bijuu extraction. Not to mention Obito wanted to use him to make Sasuke his pawn, which actually worked.
It's Itachi who had interest in killing Obito, not the other way around. So the fact they never fought only proves that it was Itachi who was afraid of Obito.
Also, Itachi was an Akatsuki member, so it's no surprise he knew at least some of Pain's techniques.
Kakashi forgot a thing once. Two can play this game - Itachi didn't use past experiences to his advantage and fell again into the same trick - he fell for Kakashi's bunshin feint twice, after all, the second one even worse than the first.
As I said, no one is perfect.

So here we basically see the most notable analyzing feat of Minato. Both feats are repeated through Kakashi and Itachi.
Here is Kakashi’s. As you can see it actually took Kakashi much longer to come to the conclusion that Minato did. However, at the same time Minato had a much closer, and better, experience for analyzing. This is mainly because he directly saw that Obito could Materliaze right after. Still this shows that Minato is probably above Kakashi in analyzing-though this is really the only reason why I think so.

These scans above show how even with information on pain, Kakashi forgot and basically did the same thing that Naruto did; he forgot the information about linked vision and attacked pain.
We also see some great analyzing feats from him when he figures out Pain #1’s powers, but he did have to go through them and he saw it before. However, in order to figure out a counter he had to directly look at the interval.
What I’m trying to say is that Kakashi usually needs help to figure something out. Take Obito’s Kamui for example.

Now Itachi. Call me what you will, there is no denying that Itachi has shown the best and most feats in terms of analyzing between these guys-and maybe others.
First of all, a 13 year old Itachi was able to come to the same conclusion that Minato did, and he didn’t even face Obito directly. Some of you might say that Itachi was wrong and Minato was right about it being madara, but it doesn’t even matter because Minato’s sole reason for not believing that it was Madara was that he should be dead. If anything all this did was show that Itachi had more knowledge than Minato at age 13.
Itachi figured out Nagato’s linked vision and how to disable it faster than Kakashi could figure out Pain #1’s justu.
Itachi was able to figure out that Hashirama cells would enhance Koto. He was able to find a way to counter CT and how it worked as soon as it began. He knew that Edo Tensei wouldn’t stop if the user was killed. Itachi could literally analyze his opponents and their personality.
Let’s not forget that Obito stayed away from him while he went straight towards Minato and Kakashi.
There’s more feats from all three, but I think this sums up why I think what I think.
itachi had complete luxury.
nagato didnt care much about itachi but bee and naruto and he just used kunai on summons. if they were human, it wouldnt have been easy

I know he had some time to think of it, but that's still really impressive considering shared vision wasn't being used and he even found out how to negate it including the invisible one.
