The Mysterious Man: A New Theory?

I don't know if this has been suggested yet.

Remember that jutsu Hashirama gave Sasuke right before he charged in? Well... What the hell happened to it? It just kind of fell flat. Or did it?

Usually when something new is introduced to a story, it will become relevant in near chapters. Well, what's the big event that just happened to Sasuke after he's just gotten a new, unknown jutsu? The Mysterious Man. It's too coincidental to me that Sasuke is presented with a new jutsu that apparently wasn't relevant against Madara at all, and then a mysterious figure approaches him on his death bed.

How is it connected? How do they relate to each other? If I may be so bold - Could it be Izuna? The foreshadowing from Hashi was already there, as he told Sasuke about the jutsu.

Its the guy that was standing on top of the mountain from the last battle Madara had with Hashi before he died.

Ye iv already thought about that, but what could it be, Sasuke said that he wouldnt charge in towards Madara however Hashirama persuaded him.
So is the dying Sasuke a woodclone? Can he heal himself? It dont seem like either of those things.
