Minato will solve the problem next chapter

In some sense, Minato will atone for his mistakes in the next chapter.

Why?

Last chapter was the first chapter Kishi made after his father died. "Absolutely" had already been in the works before his father's death. So why would Kishi, a man notorious for symbolism and parralels, dedicate a chapter to Fatherhood, only to have the Father fail miserably? Seems a very odd way to honor your father's death, by having him fail.

No, I believe Minato will pull something off next chapter to save Naruto in some fashion. Obviously he won't defeat Madara, but perhaps he could reseal or get back part of Kyuubi for Naruto. That way, the symbolism to Kishi's father's passing will come full circle and his father will be paid homage to.

I disagree. The characters and the themes write the plot. Real life shouldn't write the plot. Naruto is about the next generation surpassing the last one. Naruto and Sasuke will resolve this one eventually, not Minato. If Naruto and Sasuke don't, then Kishimoto has abandoned what is probably the most central theme in his story.

Moreover, if Minato solves the issue in one chapter, then this chapter would have been entirely pointless because there are no consequences. Minato just uses some deus ex machina to resolve the issue. There is no satisfaction.

It's already happened in previous chapters. Do you think it's any coincedence that a chapter JUST for Naruto's father is made following Kishi's Father's death?
