Why Kabuto is Great

I haven't made a Kabuto thread in a while, so I decided to make one on why I think Kabuto is such a magnificent character.

The reason is actually very simple. He, unlike any other villain in the manga or any other villain that I can recall, he merely wants attention. Love. Someone to notice him. For all of the power he amassed

he was deeply, deeply hurting the entire time.
He thought that taking power would heal his pain, but that didn't really work out.
After fighting/debating Itachi (and Sasuke) for some time, he finally revealed the true reason for why he's doing what he's doing.

That is why I love Kabuto's character so much.

Yeah kabuto may have found a few, but most of it was grave robbing and madara body shits on everything he copied from orochimaru

He is a good character. There isn't anything particular that I hate about him.

I feel the same. His character had far more depth than most other characters in the Manga, it's pretty sad when people don't even seem to realize that.

Agreed Kabuto is an excellent character. Kishis 3rd best written, naruto and obito being the first two. I really hope he is the mystery man I legitimately want him to meet up with his brother again. It would give him the much needed acknowledgement he craves.

I agree wholeheartedly.
It is sad that not a large amount of people "get" Kabuto's character. Some people don't think on such a level, others simply do not like him for whatever reason. Either is fine.
Yeah, those quotes are pretty epic. In the Viz, what he says to Itachi when he's already under Izanami is better than the scans I have up there.

"How did I get this wrong?! Where have I ever made a mistake?! All I ever wanted was someone to be there for me! To acknowledge me! To appreciate me!! Tell me, where is the mistake in that?!"
Such powerful lines.
