What do u think is the point of these two characters having this many similarities?

Yes,Iam talking about Tobirama and Minato. What is the reason behind this many similarities? I don't think Kishi have been doing this without a reason.Let us take a look at their similarities.

• Both uses FTG.
• Both are fastest if their time.
• Both are hokages.
• Both are sensors.
• Both uses same finger sensing jutsu.
• Both are considered as one of the smartest in the series.
• Both showed their talent to creat new jutsu's.
• Their Hokage numbers are even(Tobirama 2 and Minato is 4).
• Minato's personality is kinda similar to both Tobirama (Smart side of Minato)and Hashirama(dumb side of Minato).

What next? Minato's afinity is water style?

Nah Minato is Tobirama 2.0 if you look at it chronologically. You can't say that Tobirama is Minato 2.0 unless you're Kishi himself.

Because Kishi is not very creative, so he gave Tobirama jutsus that already were given to another one. He just collected
some jutsus fro different people and gave them to Tobirama. However, he just say "they developed it" and that's it. U_U

that's how I see it at least.

We can say that Kishi is runout of Ideas if there are like 2-3 similarities but they have shit load of common things which made me think that it is not just a coincidence.

I don't know either, but what i notice is that Minato is better in all their similarities. Better FTG, faster, better finger sensing(need only one instead of 2), so most like Tobirama's character was created to show how better Minato is . I'm looking forward for the better suiton jutsus as well

i think kishi did it to try and make minato look weaker because he decided that he didnt want him to be the strongest hokage like he said in the fist line of the manga

Kishi/Manga never said that Minato us the strongest Hokage but he was portrayed as a shinobi with the most potential among the hokage.


Edit:Now that I think about it,what if Minato uses the upgraded version of that forbidden jutsu that Tobirama was talking about to save Naruto?hmm

well regardless i think the purpose of making tobirama like he did was to nerf minato...on the bright side we got a badass character out of it...and maybe but i dont think so...maybe naruto will be dead for a few chapters than obito will bring him back to life ..and it would keep madara from getting his other eye and getting even more op
