Minato a failure?

I've seen people sayin he is a failure because he made "bad" decisions by keeping Obito alive or giving "Madara" a tailed beast, but is it true?

1- How many people died from his "bad" decisions so far? That's right

2- He powered-up Madara you say? The dude didn't even get the tailed beast yet. It's inside Obito's body. Kyubi stated yin Kurama would smh make Naruto recover. Guess what? Obito himself may recover because of this, so in the end it may have been a bad decision there on BZ's part if Obito in the end overcome him in the process

3- What if in the end Obito becomes responsible for Madara's lost? Would that still be a bad decision?

4- He didn't sense BZ you say? Why didn't Kakashi sense him with his Sharingan(that sees even underground chakra)? Answer is simple. The dude can't even be sensed to begin with. Remember the Kage summit? And there were full of great sensors there like Ao(best sensor of the alliance in this war) or C [

Your son is about to die at any second while facing an enemy with a bunch of allies and you've the unique solution to save him. What will you do in Minato's case?

a- Continue to fight the enemy as if nothing happened

b- Proceed to save him as quickly as possible regardless of the enemy

c- You know you've allies so you leave them occupy the enemy the time to save him as quickly as possible

d- Other(which one?)
