1. it appeals to both genders, with action, violence, comedy, blood, demons, horror, fanservice(for both genders), and it has a modern feel to it.
2. A new perpective with Harima, it is rare for soemone of Harima's caliber to be made a main hero lol
3. It is very strong promoter of female and male traits and doesn't bash either genders.
4. It doesn't go overboard to try to force comedy, it just makes the comedy flow into the story which is a rare trait.
5. Everything is random and the characters are constanlty evolving, honestly I don't think HArima looks the same twice.
6. It nearly every single type of anime character, even the strange ones lol
7. It makes alot of references to other animes like when HArima went Super saiyan.
