1. Kishi has placed an emphasis on the man's mystery, so it would be major trolling on his part if he revealed it as another zetsu
2. The manga states it is a mystery 'man' a possible clue that it could be an actual person like Kabuto and not an artificial being like Zetsu.
3. Karin would probably be able to sense it as an extension of Madara's will if it were a black zetsu type or wouldn't be able to say she had a bad feeling or EVEN BE ABLE TO SENSE ITS CHAKRA AT ALL if it was a white zetsu since they are pretty neutral and don't really give off chakra.
4. Since zetsu is an extension of MADARA'S WILL it wouldn't be of any real concern for Madara to bother with Sasuke even with zetsu unless it were for the purpose of harvesting his eyes but he is the same person who could give a fek less about the Sage's tools and spit them out in the direction of Gai and Lee LMAO
I wouldn't purely bank on the person being Kabuto but remember that Karin is the same person who said that Sasuke seemed like a totally different person when he used FINAL Susanoo
so it may be the same effect if Kabuto was using dragon sage mode (called the most evil sage mode by Kishi) or somebody with darker energy like Sasuke Kabuto or Orochimaru but only Kabuto >with dragon sage mode< should be new to Karin and also relevant to Sasuke through that fight alongside Itachi he could have understood Itachi's will and have decided to defend Sasuke.
...The mysterious footed man fits with him only being Kabuto since he is related to the Orochimaru scene and specifically could have been enlightened by Itachi's words and Izanami. knowing that Juugo has his beliefs that Orochimaru might try to take Sasuke's body, the only one fitting in with that plot is Kabuto, and since KARIN WOULD BE AFRAID OF OROCHIMARU TAKING SASUKE'S BODY, then it is only natural that she would be afraid of KABUTO who was always seen around Orochimaru. So Orochimaru asked if she knew the chakra and even if she did, she could have sensed similar presence to Orochimaru without letting him know that! All shown in these pages:
Interesting enough it seems like Orochimaru put alot of trust in Sasuke and not so much in Kabuto; remember that Kabuto is skilled in MEDICAL ninjutsu which could save Sasuke and maybe Orochimaru wouldn't mind taking his body at this point!
