What would Itachi had done if he were not an Edo?

Itachi died a few times against Kabuto...... Even though it was his plan, I don't see how he would have pulled it off with out being an Edo Tensei!!

W/o edo tensei im sure itachi would have either died trying to DISARM AND NEGATED EDO TENSEI.

Alot of ppl [ mostly trolls and kids who are biased ] forget/ignore the fact that itachi or sasuke could have killed kabuto before he transformed and while he was transform

but the fact that they disarmed him and negated his jutsu is a big feat

Maybe his fighting was sloppy because he knew that he was edo tensei. Even the strongest characters fight differently when theyre edo tensei... Madara even said so himself that Edo Tensei makes his fighting sloppy.

You could definitely make the argument that Itachi would have fought more carefully against Kabuto, had Itachi been in a mortal body. But then again, without Edo Tensei, Itachi can't spam Susano forever.

Or Itachi would have just said **** IT and killed Kabuto without using his Genjutsu.

Kabuto didn't wanna kill Sasuke and Itachi was an Edo (can't die) in a TWO on one fight, so Kabuto wasn't really in a good position/the circumstances were not in his favor.

Well his plan was Izanami and he himself stated that it's not a jutsu to be used in real combat and we saw why all those times Kabuto dealt fatal blows. If he was alive then he wouldn't be able to use it or would need even more help from Sasuke to try and set it up but Kabuto was able to handle them both and Sasuke lacked info on Izanami and explaining it would just warn Kabuto. Plus you have to factor in his weaknesses if he was alive, low stamina, his disease, the pain for using MS jutsus and the need of medicine to prolong his life.

We all saw how Itachi's movements were off against Hebi Sasuke, it would pretty much be like that since he would have had low chakra from using Amaterasu and Susanoo against Nagato with Naruto and Bee's help. This means he could use 2 more MS jutsus before he dies from his disease and MQ side effect pain. He used Susanoo a few times which would have caused him intense pain and weaken his sight. Plus he might not have been able to use Susanoo during white rage like Sasuke couldn't, being a Edo lets him going beyond pain so right there Sasuke would have been caught.

Who protected Itachi when he got impaled by the animation jutsu? or helped Itachi break out of Sound genjutsu? That's why it's a 2 on 1. Kurama is actually sealed in Naruto, it's a living chakra source that Naruto had to learn to use/control. Sasuke is a separate person not made of chakra. If Kakashi or anyone non-summon helps Naruto then it's not a solo, same for anyone else.

Just by looking, at the the way you wrote the post I can tell that you're at Itachi fanboy..... And let me explain a thing here! Itachi is good but there is peoble who would defeat him if they fought one on one. And personally I love Itachi Uchiha more than anything, but I don't like peoble like you who just write Bull**** in a thread just to make Itachi seem stronger. NOHATE

And why did Itachi get impaled in the first place? He used his susanno to cover Sasuke

You're assuming if neccesary he couldn't have broken out of it himself.. he simply found the fastest way to get both himself and Sasuke out of the genjutsu

Don't forget he didn't even bother to use Yata mirror in that fight

Something we need to consider is that if Itachi isn't Edo, and he is in his original alive body, then Itachi has Mangekyou AIDS. Sure Itachi has a lot of weapons but if he's too weak or sick to use them then they aren't of much use.
