Initially it didn't, but after reflecting on the episode I think it was great. It was good how they showed Carl maturing through these hard times (though I still think he can be a little shyt at times) and how the directors wanted to convey that his teenage years are getting robbed from him.

I guess they plan on giving everyone their own mini story arcs, but next episode looks good. I don't think he was stuck on a tank.

Oh i thought he was stuck in that tank that they showed earlier in the epi surrounded by the zombies....
But if he was it would be really ironic

At first, I hated it. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I'll watch it casually. I really liked The Governor.

Anyways, after reflecting on it, I really came to like it. We got to see a lot of Carl, which is good. We got to see hims savor the little moments and we got to see Michonne's past and see how she went from being all alone to with all kinds of people to being back all alone again. The smile on her face when she finds Rick and Carl. I loved that feeling. Show isn't the shit for me, but it was good.

I really enjoyed it. It shows that Carl has really matured since season one, however I do not think that he should be blaming everything on Rick as protecting the group is a huge burden for him. Do not like how he brought up Shane I think that comment was a little far. As for Michonne in this episode I loved her, she has changed so much since her first appearance. I am glad that the writers showing us her past.

Michonne is definitely was definitely having a nervous breakdown, I'm happy she found them in time.

Carl proved to me how mediocre of an actor he is this episode. I never thought the guy playing him was a good actor but he never had a enough time to actually show me what he can do. During that scene where Rick was on the couch and he was yelling at him I realized he's not a good actor. For a kid in that situation feeling those things, in my opinion he didn't portray it well, it wasn't real.

Also I didn't like his temper tantrum he was throwing, I realize that they've lost a lot and it's frustrating but this whole "I can take care of myself" thing is a fail. He thinks because he has a gun that he's a big boy now, false. There's a lot of things he doesn't understand about surviving in that atmosphere that he portrayed during the episode.

1. Conserving bullets. Not only does shooting attract more attention but he lacks the physical strength to kill a zombie with say a stake or something more stealthy. He needs someone to help him, as you see he quickly ran out of bullets in his gun in just a couple of hours. He wouldn't survive on his own.
2. He has very poor judgement in situations.
3. He's not very good at being aware of his surroundings

I still liked the episode despite this, not one of the best but decent.

Come on dude would you blame him, truth is rick has lost his edge and his head isnt in the right place or state of mind to run things now, so yeah carls is making most of the essential decisions now and doing what needs to be done as seen when he killed the walkers when rick was still sleeping.

He has a long way to go for him to survive on his own yeah but the rate his going he is gonna get there remember carl in season 1 ? sarah didn't allow him much freedom and frowned upon him using a gun if i remember so that guy now and this guy or rather kid killing walkers and saving his dads ass is a huge and impressive development in character and mental strength and maturity.

He wasn't smart about it though in my opinion. He thought it was a game leading those walkers, wasn't paying attention to his surroundings and barely escaped from under a pile of bodies.

I'm not saying he didn't mature, but he can't handle himself like he thinks he can, he needs help. Rick at least knows what to do in situations and can lead his son, but carls being a brat not listening to what he's saying and constantly making situations more difficult. He's not even thinking about it from Rick's point of view, the guy lost his wife who he was in love with for years and years and had children with, then he loses his newborn baby, the last bit of hope and joy he had.

All of those things burn on a deeper level then it would with Carl. Now I'm not saying Carl isn't deeply hurt by losing his mom and sister but he's being extremely selfish, instead of trying to help his dad he's wishing he was dead because he's upset. If he would help his dad out instead of adding to the problems he would help things out a lot.
