The Viz is just a more accurate translation of the manga. I'm under the assumption that the little notes at the end of the chapter were added on by Kishimoto or his editors.

Kishi took a break, and people assumed it was for his father funerals. Are there posts dating from that period? Is so I doubt that he made them. This account could be something made with Kishi’s compliance.
Okay responding to the OP, Karin isn't impossible. It could totally just be Karin/Jugo and we've made a huge fuss over nothing.

That last panel sent people CRAZY back when Gaara was fighting in the Lightning Desert. There were crazy theories about Minato coming back (lol), Konohamaru joining the battlefield, some people even thought Jiraiya had returned from the dead! (we weren't smart okay)
Sometimes Kishi just poses a panel to make drama out of a total non-cliffhanger. It's possible we're just assuming too much, either way- it's a BIG DAY for us Kabuto fans tomorrow regardless of who the foot is.
thats not the samething because naruto has been all over the battlefiled helping out and he is the only shinobi with a rasegan that was alive
this is different since its just a single foot...that other one can be narrowed down to 1 shinobi just by the rasegan and how he has previously been in the battlefield
It seemed too obvious so the fact Kishi obscured it intruiged some people. This is an exaggerated version of this but it still shows Kishi is an author who likes to make cliffhangers out of nothing. It's Kabuto. I think we all know this, but got to keep your mind open.
