Lets get ONE thing clear....Obito beat Madara, there is no doubt about that.

I do not favor one more than the other, Obito or Madara. Although, I do like Obito more than Madara for reasons unrelated to this thread.


But the fact that Obito canonically 'beat' Uchiha Madara is almost set in stone. There should be no question about this.

I wasn't trying to say that Obito beat Madara in a fight or if one was stronger than the other. I'm only trying to prove that Obito bested Madara and almost succeeded in bringing his plans to fruition, if it wasn't for Naruto, Madara would be a sitting duck like he had been the whole time Obito had the Six Path powers.

Obito won the battle and the race. He beat Madara to it, and he would have gone all the way if Naruto hadn't stopped him.

Lmao, then how come Madara has foiled his plan of hiding the Rinnegan and successfully restrained and forced Obito to use the Rinne Tensei on him via his will, a.k.a Black Zetsu?

At the end of the day, Obito's counter-plan to stop Madara from becoming the Juubi Jin and to save himself failed, with Madara using the advantage put forward to turn the tables.

From Madara himself: "Don't put me in the same league as someone who takes years just to retrieve their pets" or BZ to Obito, "Someone of your pedigree was never meant to have the Rinnegan long-term"
