Distinguishing clone from original is not a sharingan given feat?

I used to believe that the sharingan allowed the user to tell the clone apart from the original (If I happened to be the only one who thought this...then I'd feel incredibly dumb) however that doesn't seem to be the case....

Episode 342 Here Naruto makes a clone to confuse Obito...Obito says "this one" and hits it with the Gunbai and it turns out to be a clone...Obito seems unfazed and states "I guess not, then it must be this one" and he charges at the real Naruto

Now I dismissed this on the grounds that Obitoi was just guessing and he didn't really pay much attention or he was just toying with naruto
(which makes no sense now that I think about it)


Episode 343 Here before the mask was broken...Naruto Jumps in front of Obito giving him a front row sit before Kakashi wraps Naruto away...

Here not only was Obito not able to tell that it was the real Naruto but his eyes were so slow to the point that he couldn't see a wrap while right in front of Naruto _@:....

Madara shows up at the end of the episode...he takes one look at Naruto and quickly realizes that its a clone. Now one would think that it's his eyes that made him tell the clone apart...however Obito also had Madara's Rinnegan at the time but couldn't distinguish squat....

Final argument....Kakashi vs Deva Path...here kakashi made a lighting clone...Deva Pein didn't realize this right away, again he also had Madara's Rinnegan

On different occasions a Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan was unable to tell a clone apart from the real deal people...I guess the reason I made this thread was I saw one of those Sasuke Vs Naruto threads and one guy made an argument about naruto making a clone however a second guy argued that Sasuke even with 3T would tell a clone apart

So what are your thoughts? Is distinguishing clones from original a sharingan given feat or not?

Like Zetsu said: a weapon is just as good as the one who is using it.

Madara did noticed Hashi's moktoun clones while the 5 Kage couldn't.

But Itachi failed to notice Sasuke's "snake clone" with his sharingan.

The visual prowess is different.

This doesn't make sense to me...if he was unable to tell the difference between a single clone and naruto then surely he won't find Naruto amongst 100 clones...he would simply guess as he did when it was Naruto and a clone...and he would guess wrong

I'd say, throughout the series people sometimes just "know things" like when people watch them, follow them etc. even without sensory feats or dojutsu. It's probably ninja intuition thing, and it happens with clones, too, sometimes.

if they see the process they can find where original lies but if they hide nd make clones they cant distinguish.

Gaara able to tell it naruto clone or not without sharingan. but not wood clone, because it too OP, only madara can.
