Other News
Hayato Date - Naruto's anime director - posted on his twitter that the current plan is for canon to resume after the ANBU arc. He also pointed out that there should be no more filler arcs for the remainder of this year.

My opinion on this: There may be no more filler arcs this year, however I think people should still expect "padded" canon episodes. If you don't know what I mean, look at episodes such as 330, 338, and 346. All of those episodes covered manga chapters, but they were "padded".

FAQ Section
Q: When will there be a new Opening/Ending?
A: The openings and endings go by the following schedule
  • First week of January: New Ending
  • First week of April: New Opening and Ending
  • First week of July: New Ending
  • First week of October: New Opening and Ending

Q: When are new episode titles released?
A: There are two specific time frames
  • One new title is released between the 7th-10th every month. Animation info for upcoming episodes is also released with this title.
  • Three new titles are released around the 22nd-23rd every month

Q: Where can I learn more about the animation staff?
A: This page has some nice info:
You can usually know how good an episode will be by learning the names of the animation supervisors. For example, if you see "Hiroyuki Yamashita" or "Masayuki Kouda" listed, it will always be a great episode.

You must not be very good at reading, but that's ok a lot of people aren't. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Definitely. It had more basis than Chikara arc, in my opinion. Chikara could've been better, had a better story but somehow while it did have a good animation, the story was quite meh. I liked it, I just think it could've been better.

Honestly I don't even consider Chikara an arc, because it was actually produced as a movie. However the movie was canned, so they salvaged the footage and presented it as anime episodes.

That is why the entire "arc" has consistent movie quality animation, and it is also why the arc is around the typical length of a movie (6 episodes=120 minutes).

It's a shame that the ANBU arc couldn't get that level of animation, since it is a much higher quality story.

It was clearly a joke implying that their promise of 'no fillers' is empty as they followed it up with 'things could change'. Given the past history there will be fillers.

How you got to questioning my ability to read is beyond me...

Oh, if you were kidding then that's cool.

Anyways, that was my comment warning people things could change, they didn't actually say that. It probably won't change, I'm just pointing out that anything is possible.

can you give me Hayato Date's twitter ? :)

Sure, but he doesn't speak English

And yes his account name actually is Pikachu, LOL.

By the way Yamashita is only overseeing the animation aspect for his next episode, someone else is in charge of directing the episode and deciding how the scenes play out.

So it will still be high quality episode, but probably not quite as good as his last 2 episodes (322/345) where he had complete creative control over everything.
