Current Anime's that are better than Naruto

To me Attack on titan's beginning just captured me a lot and I was able to understand the characters thirst for vengeance, it just had a more powerful start than Naruto and progressed from there wonderfully, the suspense always had me on the edge of my seat, sure it can get repetitive but the deaths of epic characters like...well won't spoil, but there deaths just adds to the show.

i agree that it started off great but as the chapters have passed i just havent been as entertained or.. addicted to it unlike other manga/anime

whats the point of this really? if there are anime/manga that you enjoy more than naruto fine enjoy it but why do you have to try and belittle naruto just because you watch something that you enjoy more than naruto are you trying to convert naruto fans from claiming naruto to be their favorite series?

but as a response to your thread and how i feel about the shows you posted, personally hunter x hunter does nothing for me granted im not that far, but gon is boring as hell. as for magi not read a lot but its alright.

shingeki no kyojin is only good in visuals and is an okay read heck i haven't even been bothered to read the last two recent chapters of shingeki no kyojin, i've just lost all hype for the series and reading it is more like a chore as im not excited for the next chapters maybe if it was weekly it wouldn't be so bad

all in all naruto is my favorite series but doesn't mean i think it beats all the other series but it annoys me when people have to downgrade naruto just because they read something new why cant you praise a series on its own merits

Well, there's a lot of ongoing series that are better, actually. Naruto's not exactly a perfect series, y'know. Counting those that'll be resuming soon, I'd say Mushishi, Psycho-Pass, Kill la Kill, and SAO are also on that list. Bleach isn't really that good to me, but OP definitely tops it, too.

No current anime beats Naruto IMO. The only better ones are things that have come since it started, Ano Hana/Gurren Lagann/FLCL and the like. But that's only because all current anime right now suck, AoT ended and has nothing on Naruto anyway (although it is fun) Kill la Kill is pretty awful and a huge let-down (unless you treat it as a parody of other shows) and there's nothing else of real interest.

Kyousougiga is definitely the best contender to Naruto though. Still watching it but not that they're really two anime to compare. More people got to watch surrealist anime.

Best ongoing manga on the other hand? Quite a few beat Naruto. Blue Exorcist being #1.

I can't see a current anime unlike those 3 that surpasses Naruto, of course however there must be a lot more that I haven't mention above, but most of them just don't surpass Naruto

He said anime, not manga. I love the manga, bbut the anime is horrible.

DUDE, Naruto Anime Are Fine Leave it alone!! Hunter X Hunter, Magi, Naruto, and Attack on Titan are all equivalent

Naruto Anime is Way better than in the Manga in term of the plot thanks to some fillers that were expanded upon that Kishi couldn't do, so they made the filllers better and some justified in some certain arc especially if we're talking about the War Arc.

Its the way its depicted there are scenes with just as much damage in HxH actually. Cheetu cut someones fingers off similar to the first gif and ate them. HxH can actually get very intense, but Elfin Lied is just depicted as darker.

You really should, it's the best shonen out there IMO. If you do, make sure to watch the 2011 version. It's also where my ava and sig are from.
