it was crap, we saw sanji have a nose bleed, zoro run around like a headless chicken, luffy and franky... walked around a bit? anyway they did nothing... Seen it too many times, no progression at all.

Lol, you gotta give the animators some credit, they are trying to prolong the episodes so that we do not catch uptonthe manga. This said, i still say the anime go on 3 month break before continuing.

we can only hope. it helped Naruto's pacing of the anime, but then again the writer knew he planned it to end it sooner than later

Oda should just tell them no more anime until he is about three arcs away

Nothing really happened expect showing of Duffys family and Voilet.
I agree with more fillers until there is more distance between the manga.

It was a good episode with solid animation. *****ing about the pacing every week won't speed it up.

It has been 1:1 since Enies Lobby and it won't change. That's One Piece style and I like it better than tedious dumb filler arcs in disturbing the story.

You should view the manga and the anime as two separate things. Manga for the continuation and progress. Anime to bring it alive.

Violet's dancing scene was excellently animated.

seriously fujitora is the 1st admiral with such dull entrance in one piece i think.it is really boring from 3 episodes.i want a filler arc showing the training of zoro with mihawk and luffy with rayleigh.

This is what an episode should be like. Was Very lively and had good animation. The scenes with Viola were done really good.
No problem with the pacing of the episode. They brought in some sanji dialogues from later chapters and didn't show the ending of the respective chapter, so overall they covered nearly one chapter. Still, they managed to keep it dynamic. Loved the Episode.

Have you missed the point that they couldn't introduce him as an admiral because no one knew who he was ?

I wouldn't mind fillers because I wouldn't watch them anyway so it wouldn't bother me

but I don't think OP anime is really bad or anything it's just that it could be better, if you watch it every week you don't get a lot but if you watch it in bulk, ie wait for it and watch more episodes at once it's ok, or if you watch an entire arc together

It's cool if the pacing is 1 chapter BUT don't drag out unnecessary scenes like Zoro running or Fujitora walking (from previous ep.). They could of easily added dragged out scenes about the whole Ace scene or something else more useful. I really don't want this arc to be a punk hazard 2.0 where we just see the SH's just running but I'm sure it will stop once we get to the tournament fights.

Anyways, I enjoyed this episode for the most part with Sanji/Violet. 4.5/5 ep. just the dragged on running prevented it from being really good.
