Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how bad Indians had it? Don't go spouting shit you don't even know about. Save yourself the trouble of looking like an idiot and log out.
Shit do you know? If you did you would understand both had it bad, but very little comparison

You want to know what I know? Here is a little something I know. Saying that Africans had it worse than Indians over one person's experience on the matter is ignorant. Have you lived in either era? No. Who is to say who had it worse? Nobody.

It amazes me, how our people can so oblivious to white supremacy in America, we've been given one month out of the entire year for others to "realize our struggle", and we're supposed to forget 500 years of oppression, and discrimination towards our people. Even now white supremacy is still strong in this country, for example, the dived and conquer method is still being used in the black community by the white supremacist, Dr. Umar Johnson explains it a lot better than I can.

This is ridiculous, I wasn't apart of it and neither were you, I'm afraid. So stop being so mad about something our stupid ancestors did?!

The fact the people feel the need to mention native Americans is a discussion regarding Black History Month is ignorant in itself. In an attempt to downplay the struggle of African/African American's by mentioning another minority group, who too was taken advantage of but in a completely different manner utterly ridiculous. However, it's quite typical, instead of addressing the matter at hand, ine points to finger and try to compare a situation in order to discredit another.

It's not about who had it worse, ignorant individuals worrt about ti had it worse. Regardless, if you know your history to begin with such a "question" wouldn't be asked in the first place.

Ancestors? Please, oppression is within society today. Stop acting like this is something of the past. Only certain individuals would state such nonsense to make themselves feel better or simply ignorant.

No but my parents, grand parents and so on, were apart of it, why would you call your ancestors stupid? You're supposed to respect your ancestors, also racism still exist, and so does discrimination and white supremacy, so what are you talking about?

Smh. This is why I really hate my race sometimes. People like you guys, the black supremacists. Thinking that blacks have suffered more than any other race but have prevailed only because we're "stronger" and they "feared" us. Always finding a way to make issues about Black or White, like the Treyvon Martin case. But I wont get into that. And you're always whining about how
"Oh my grandma suffered"
"We used to be slaves"
"Some white people are still racist"

No shit you idiot, we know we were oppressed and we know that racism still exists. But what can you do about it? Nothing.
And being from a race doesnt mean you have to defend it and look beyond reason. THAT is ignorance. You say Indians didn't have it as bad. Really? They were all mostly wiped out and stripped from their homes. We still have our culture etc.
And most African Americans during the abolitionist movement were offered freedom in Liberia but wouldnt take it because they saw America as their home.

You guys can say all you want in the end it matters very little. Deal with it *****

You can argue about who had it worse, but no one has had it worse than us, we weren't even considers humans, we were taken from our land, cut of from our culture, or families, our beliefs, our history, Indians at least have there history, culture, land, and most of all they weren't enslaved and treated like animals, I would've like to hear that my ancestors died protecting there homes, but all we get is our ancestor who had there spirits broken, who were whipped and beaten, lynched, for over 500 sorry, but no other race comes close. Also other races do have their own month, September is for the Hispanics. So don't say we're the only one with a month.
September isn't for hispanics it is mexican independence month

You're brainwashed to the point you hate your own race, you're so ignorant it's not even funny, I really feel bad for people like, who would rather stay brainwashed than educate himself about his own people, do you even know, who Malcolm X is, or Marcus Garvey, you're a prime example of what we're talking about when we say "brainwashed"

September isn't for hispanics it is mexican independence month
Actually Hispanics appreciation month is from September 15 to October 15

This post was full of so much fail it's ridiculous, wtf are you talking about?

Why are the sufferings of another race being mentioned?

Stronger? Feared? Again, what the hell are you talking about. If you're referring to the slavery era, slave owners did fear the possibilities of Africans/African-American taking over. This fear intensified after what happened in Haiti.

Blacks didn't make Trayvon Martin about race, the media made it about race. As a result, it became a race issue and blacks, who deal with this on a daily basis used that case as a way to fight against this brutality

we're not "whining" about the past when it's apart of history. If yiu forgot, it's called blacl history month

"Were oppressed" no, we're still oppressed. Nothing can be sit by sitting there and simply ignoring whats occurring, regardless if it'll change anything or not. History has shown how this strategy caN be effective.

That was shipping Africans back to their "homeland" aftrr they've lost their families, identity, etc. They saw being sent back as a slap in the face and wouldn't have been beneficial

I only replied to someone who said Blacks had it worse than the Indians. I am not downplaying anything here.

The guy I was talking to said that the natives had it worse, but yet you chose to go against the one saying african had it worse, so if you weren't trying to downplay the africans, why did you chose to defend the natives, and not the africans? If you truly didn't want to downplay any side, you would've stayed neutral, but you chose a side, you're obviously trying to downplay one, and defend the other. Smh

Well a couple reasons. You downplayed how bad the Indians got it first off, and I did not see him downplay anything, but if he did, my bad. You said there was no such thing as black supremacists but there were tons of white supremacists, which leads me to believe you are delusional or ethnocentric.

In my opinion, you cannot compare the two since neither you or anyone on this base has lived through any of it. Coupled with the fact that based on our phenomenology of slavery and what not, we will be biased.

He didn't downplay anything, he simply replied to a remark he felt differently on.

You said "imo" you can't compare the two, which you made am attempt to do.

There is no such thing as black suprmecacy, saying that blacks are better than everyone else is not really black supremacy, when a race actually start to do the things they speak of as race supremacist, that's when it becomes real, so do your research and you will see why there's no such thing as black supremacy
