But I kind of changed my mind when I started to think that Kishimoto had to use references to reach some outcomes, so if you think carefully, you could find that Sir Derp Obito's theories are not wrong... they are just created from outside the box.

I myself could say that I was wrong when being closed only to manga facts, since enclosing myself to facts could limit the possibilities out there... these possibilities known as unjustified asspulls.

In the end, it is in Sir Derp Obito's freedom to decide if answer or not the questions of people in the base. Silence can be interpreted in many ways, but these interpretations can't be absolute truth.

So... that's all, I said it. Byron, it's up to you to think whatever you like about him. I had to turn the switch to understand his way to do things in here.

Most probably the divine power in her body that she acquired from consuming the Forbidden Fruit, you could say she made a Kamikaze attack on Juubi to weaken it enough for his son to seal it inside himself. Like a mother-son tandem ala Naruto and Kushina.

That works well, and definitely fitting that the one who caused the whole problem, Kayuga, was given a chance to amend.

The only problem I have with the idea is the fact that someone like Hagaromo would even need help in the first place. Madara was able to easily subjugate a 80+% Juubi(after accounting for the fact that Kurama disproporionally powerful) with no effort whatsoever. Hagaromo had both Rinnegan which should put him far above Pre Jin Madara. In fact, without the Juubi, and also dying, he was still able to create the moon. Pre Jin Madara didn't show anything near that level.

Not saying that your idea is wrong; it is correct: The manga clearly stated that Hagaromo struggled with the Juubi. But I wonder what was that extra factor that made the struggle? Having Yin Kurama would not boost the Juubi to such a high level that even a moon level juggernaut would not be able to handle it.

Lol I myself was always fond of his theories but when theories are started to be created based on previous theories which have yet to be validated, then thy slowly start to lose their credibility. I've never said that basing a theory on a myth is a mistake, but to take such thing as granted to proceed even further with more comlicated things on things that haven't been proved correct yet creates only mess and in the end we forget the difference between facts and theories. Besides, I like thinking outside of the box, as long ofc that makes sense in a way, check my previous answer to Sir derp and you'll understand my reasoning.

As for his right of not answering to people, I'm sorry but I must disagree, when you create theories, you expect criticism and as long as that criticism is constructed in a logical way without being impolite, then no the theorist MUST answer. That is unless the only thing he cares about is to get fame without actually proving anything. Also, the problem here isn't that he doesn't answer to me specifically but the fact that he selectively chooses not to answer to questions that might seem difficult while he accepts with ease to answer to the easy questions. By doing like that it's just a form of censuring since he hopes that the "annoying" posts will at some point stop and get lost in the ocean of other posts. As for the myths, using them up to a point is acceptable but once he uses them as facts to create further theories we must remember that being based on a myth something, it doesn't have to follow it by the letter. That being said, Kishi getting an idea from a myth, doesn't mean that everything will go exactly as it went to the myth. And that's why using such theories as facts to create further ones is a mistake.


As for my comment you quoted, the fact that he closed his thread is another form of censorship since he didn't want to hear any of the possible negative comments but I'm sure that he will open them once again, in case he turns out to be right.

To sum it all up, its not his theories that matter to me but the way he reacts to the possible questions and his certainty which drives him in making theories based on "his yet to be confirmed" theories, creating a complete mess as to what is a fact, what a hypothesis and what a stupid idea which might become believable without any logic only because it was written by "Sir Derp Obito".

well according to derp, A pre sage wasn't a "moon level jugernaut".Remember when tobi said "The sage went beyond the realm of humanity when he became the Juubi's Jin" or something like that. derp thinks that the sage's body got altered by being the Juubi's host during his whole lifetime, Rikudo basically became a "mini" juubi due to being its host for a long time, so it might explain why he was able to create the moon when he was at his weakest... idk about you, but makes sense to me

I have a feeling Kishi won't go in that deeply, but I do believe that he might. The only reason I believe that he may not go that deep is because of the fact that the Juubi has so far shown itself to be a feral monster, and not a creature that can be befriended. But I can see the part about Kaguya being under a death god curse. And I do believe that Hagorama's mother is the Shigami.

I think you've correctly identified Kishimoto's inspiration, here - but it is hit or miss as to whether or not he is going to follow through with inspirational lore in a sensible way.

Many of us believed Gaara would not be heading to the Fourth (because there was every bit of evidence that suggested sealing a beast back into Naruto wouldn't save him, the distances now involved, etc). It seemed a very solid bet (kind of like how we thought Naruto might not be able to shadow-clone spam in beast cloaked mode).

Then ... well ...

So, at this point, while I think you've identified the inspiration brilliantly - I am getting the feeling that the plot will develop outside of logic from here on.

Perhaps this is my insistence upon involving Hinata in everything... but it makes me wonder if Hinata might end up being the reincarnation of Kaguya as Naruto is the reincarnation of the Sage. Some kind of a tangent off of Taoism, perhaps.

Perhaps it will be as literal as Naruto and Sasuke die only to be reborn by the flower as one being.
