Weakest to Strongest Sound 5 members?

The title sums it up.

IMO it goes:

Jirobo < Tayuya < Kidomaru < Sakon/Ukon < Kimimaro.

EDIT: Sakon and Ukon were put ahead of Tayuya.

EDIT: Sakon/Ukon were put ahead of Kidomaru.

Here are some statements made from Sasuke retrieval squad/Sound 4

-Jirobo is the weakest

-Kidomaru is the smartest

-Kimimaro beat all 4

-Shikamaru who was arguably the 2nd strongest (after Neji) in the group almost beat Tayuya.

-Neji who was arguably the strongest in the group (Neji lost to Naruto because he toyed around too much and gave Naruto an opportunity to pull out the 9 tail's chakra) tied the fight with Kidomaru.
Kimimaro and Jirobo's places stand. But how do Sakon, Tayuya, and Kidomaru rank against each other?

I think sakon was the second strongest, with tayuya being the third and kidomaru is the fourth one.

I think the anime (never read the manga version of Sasuke retrieval arc) made it seem as if Ukon and Tayuya were tied for strongest among the 4. I'm referring to when Kimi fought the 4 of them, and Tayuya/Sakon bowed before him while Kido and Jirobo were knocked out.

Sakon also did seem to show more of a leader role when they confronted Sasuke.

Honestly, I always felt that Kidomaru was one of the most severely underrated characters in the entire Narutoverse. The only thing even as of chapter 663 that can stop Kidomaru's web is Amaterasu and 64 palms (even Susano'o can't cut it).

Kidomaru also took out 5 anbu black ops when they were leaving with Orochimaru.

Although Sakon/Ukon always seemed the weakest to me and Kidomaru isn't as good in an open area (i'd say he's a bit overrated sometimes since he had the location advantage).

I wouldn't call that order "established in the manga". You think that if the sound 4's weakest member (Jirobo) lost to the SR squad that they would simply send the second weakest out to delay (Kidomaru)? I like your point about Kidomaru having the location advantage against Neji which is very true. Even so, none of the SR squad members were able to dodge his webs. Even Neji didn't dodge it. Neji won that fight simply because of his advantage of being able to cut chakra threads.

I've decided to put Sakon and Ukon above Tayuya because Shikamaru claimed her weakness is close combat (Jirobo would still lose because his speed sucks). Sakon/Ukon are close combat fighters.

Even Jirobo is pretty strong though so yknow, Orochimaru knew them best and said Tayuya's blood burns the hottest yet Kabuto was certain Sakon/Ukon were the strongest of the bunch.

Could you possibly link me to scans of Oro saying Sakon was the best, I remember him saying Tayuya's blood boils and how sad he was about not getting Kimi's body.

It doesn't really add up when you look at his moveset compared to the others but his power comes from the fact that he's VERY hard to kill under normal conditions.

Yea I think i've changed my mind to Sakon/ukon > Kidomaru. Sakon can still use rashumon on any of Kido's long range techs + Kidomaru has to get both of them at once.
