So after all the threads I read about how Kishimoto is shooting himself in the foot with this piece of information and negating his own logic, I decided to make a new one with my take on the situation.
Question: If resealing a Bijuu would save a dying ex-Jinchuuriki from certain death, why didn't Minato reseal Kurama into Kushina to save her and ensure at least one living parent for his non-Jinchuuriki son? Her death was pointless.
I read 654654 threads about this particular topic and opinions ranged from explaining the level of weakness of the ex-Jinchuuriki and how MUCH of an Uzumaki they were and similar answers that are overthinking one VERY SIMPLE truth.
Answer: Because THEY DIDN'T KNOW. How about that? Kurama had to tell Gaara that it could work, no one knew it, no one had attempted it before, how could they possibly know?! So chill out, guys, Kishimoto might make no sense whatsoever with MANY things in this manga, but I don't think this is one of them.
