[Discussion] In Terms Of Religion Where Do You Stand?

Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim etc.

Personally I'm atheist. I don't believe in god. I think it's silly to believe in a magic man in the sky who created the earth in seven days 6,000 years ago even though science proves that the earth was formed over a billion years ago. Besides that little rant, I'm curious and where people stand and why do they believe in such things that has no evidence what so ever.

I dont believe that there can be a all powerful and loving god just by looking at the news, There is so much fighting and horrible things happing to others and to my family and friends and they all tell me to believe and trust that god will save us all if we just believe. I find it hard to believe that a God Created Everything because who made the god.

You do know that not all regions claim that the world was created 6000-10,000 years ago, right? It's pretty ignorant to think that there isn't some sort of creator out there who had some sort of influence to our existence.

Anyways, I was hindu but I'm agnostic now. I don't think humans can grasp something like knowing the identity of our creator, it seems a bit too advanced for us.

I don't believe in religion at all. I don't go to church anymore, but I do believe in a higher power of some sort. Due to the unanswered question "what caused the universe to form".
I have a personal belief that I need a self reflection, somewhat in the form a "prayer". I believe that can lead to some less stress in life. But I dunno what I am.
