Which team has received less development? Team Gai or Team Kurenai?

Both of these two teams have been quite neglected throughout the majority of Shippuden in my opinion as Team 7 and Ino-Shika-Cho have most of the spotlight. Whilst Team Gai have their teamwork and dynamics covered, we simply just haven't seen enough of them. Even though Neji was promoted to Jonin (mind you, the first out of the entire Konoha 11) I expected him to be a beast, but he still looked like a chunin. Same with Lee, I expected him to be a beast as well after the fight with Gaara. And Tenten's character is a shame, she was the one Naruto female in the K11 that I wanted to see more of since she was the only one that wasn't a fangirl (only Sakura's case is understandable)

As for Team Kurenai, they don't feel like a team at all to me, just Hinata and Co. If Hinata was transferred from the team, i bet Kiba and Shino would be getting even less screen time than they are now. I only get the 'team' vibe from Kiba and Shino. Hinata doesn't really interact with them, so I don't see the relationship between them. Kiba and Shino are also characters who have been sorely neglected in my opinion.

So which team do you think has received the least development? Team Gai or Team Kurenai?

Team Guy was with Naruto during the Kazekage Rescue Arc. They had a few moments in the war.

Team Kurenai was with Naruto during the Itachi Pursuit Arc. The also had a few moments in the war.

Team Gai atleast felt like it was a team unlike Team Kurenai which did not seem to have Connections beyond acquaintances.

As a "team", Team Kurenai got the least development. Students were not even around Kurenai when she was pregnant and lose her lover (İnstead, author decided to give Shikamaru relevancy...again).

As individuals, Team Gai got less development in skill on screen. Neji's death was a dramatic moment for him, it effected Lee and Gai had more panels than anyone in this comparasion in part 2. Team Kurenai didn't experience a drama barring Hinata who jumped to her crush's D after her cousin died.

Overall in whole manga i think Team Gai is more developed due to characterizations of Lee and Neji at part 1, which tops any depth Team Kurenai have shown. Also Gai who got his fair share in both parts.

In terms of strength? Probably team guy has developed the most. Especially gai himself. So op. As far as story goes, we learned a lot about lee's past and his relationship with gai sensei. Neji had a lot of emotional development. ten ten is the only one with no development.

hinata has been saying the same stuff since part one and acting like its a new revelation. Shino is cool, and skilled but learned literally ZERO new moves (well maybe that giant bug thing). Kiba got 2 new moves since his debut. Wolf fang over fang, then GET THIS: he added another wolf. Who the fúck is Kurenai? oh that girl with like ONE SCENE where she got solo'd by itachi with a regular genjutsu?

Actually Shino's learned four new moves since his debut. He showed Insect Clones before Kiba's Two-Head Wolf form. Then when Kiba spent most of Shippuden using Fang Passing Fang Shino had learned Insect Globe and Insect Jamming. When the war came around and Kiba had shown that he can create an extra dog head, straight after that Shino introduces his new Giant Bugs.
