Agreed. I think we're probably going to get a few chapters that basically show a "Darkest before dawn" theme, featuring the 5 kage slowly being defeated and Gaara leading on how to bring Naruto/Sasuke back, meanwhile we have (hopefully) Naruto and Sasuke's fabled arrival to the afterlife.

Of course that's just the fan in me speaking Lol, but whichever way the plot goes, tomorrow's manga is definitely going to be the setup for the plot of the next couple chapters in my opinion.

Hiruzen isn't really a big thing to me at this moment, the most he'll do is beat zetsu who is nothing more than a clone of Hashirama, maybe with somebody in him giving him more power.

I believe he'll play a big role in Madara's ultimate defeat U_U

He will play a role in defeating Madara's plan (i.e. Zetsu,shin, maybe even Jubi, if it even comes back), but personally beating Madara, I don't think his role will be that significant. Ofcourse he'll receive more hype and feats to put in 1v1 comparisons, but if you ask me he should have been showing his skill when he first entered this war.

Instead of getting his head blown off and just sitting around till everyone almost died. Hiruzen isn't any of my concern right now.

All there is, is hope and of course Kishi's pencil/pen who will draw the fate of the next chapter.

In some ways, Yes. But they had fillers and flaws in my opinion. It seemed he wanted to take up space and other times it seemed he was just rushing to a point without a good explanation.

Couldn't give a crap about Hiruzen or Madara. Just want some actual plot progression. I'm done with power struggles back and forth, swapping the Bijuu around like pokemon cards and some shirtless guy going around killing everyone- it got old QUICK. Isn't Bee dying? SHOW THAT! Bee is a much more interesting and important character than any of these damn Edos.

Kill Obito or Kakashi or something, they should've been dead a while back. Just. Mix. It. Up. Kishi. (It was still a mistake to make Maddy the final villain IMO)

Was reading till I got here and started laughing uncontrollably. I completely forgot.

That's what Naruto and Sasuke can do. They make others non existent. But I agree some aswell.

Right now, Hiruzen and Orochimaru are one of the most important characters at the moment to be able to do anything.
Minato (one arm) and Kakashi are being held back by the statue.
5 Kage with Ninja Alliance are losing Chakra fast!
Hashirama and Tobirama are taken out by Madara
Bee could be dying or is dead
Gaara is held up with Naruto.
Naruto and Sasuke are dying.
