I may have missed it in the manga or something, but why did Obito stop using wood release? His wood release was so ****ing OP he could have destroyed so many people with it..

At the time he was using it Naruto had run out of chakra and the alliance was pretty weak

But after that, the Edo hokages came in, Naruto re-entered Bijuu mode, sasuke and the five kages came in to support the alliance so there would be no point in using weak mokuton techniques as they would counter it with so many powerful people
He resorted to using juubi bombs which are much much powerful

Because his goal was to strike fear and demoralize the Alliance before Mugen Tsukiyomi activated, not necessarily kill everyone (which he could've easily done.)

If he could use it, he would have done so against kakashi in the kamui realm. we can only assume people can do things in the given circumstance. We haven't seen obito use wood style by himself, so we assume he can't

Obito is able to Use mokuton, Yet he was restricted throughout the war. During kakashi's fight in kamui land, his whole arsenal was restricted so It's to be expected.

But wait, half of Obito's body is senju DNA...if Madara was able to use wood style, why couldn't obito? I mean he was able to fully control the Gedō Mazou.

Yes but at that time the zetsu had thought bubbles saying something along the lines of "no wonder madara chose obito, hes already been able to unlock and use the wood release technique"... Stating that Obito unlocked the technique, so therefore it wasn't related to the spiral zetsu?

yes exactly. Obito alone can use mokuton. Spiral zetsu didn't help him because obito wanted to fight himself.

the mokuton got boosted with spiral zetsu... but of course Obito could use minor Mokuton by himself
