I may have missed it in the manga or something, but why did Obito stop using wood release? His wood release was so ****ing OP he could have destroyed so many people with it..
At the time he was using it Naruto had run out of chakra and the alliance was pretty weak
But after that, the Edo hokages came in, Naruto re-entered Bijuu mode, sasuke and the five kages came in to support the alliance so there would be no point in using weak mokuton techniques as they would counter it with so many powerful people
He resorted to using juubi bombs which are much much powerful
So far, we've ONLY seen him use it in 2 scenarios. 1) while under the influence of the spiral zetsu "suit", and 2) through the juubi. He can't use it on his own
This could be it although it could be some of the other reasons too![]()
you missed: Obito only had OP Mokuton when he was inside Spiral Zetsu =p
Yes but at that time the zetsu had thought bubbles saying something along the lines of "no wonder madara chose obito, hes already been able to unlock and use the wood release technique"... Stating that Obito unlocked the technique, so therefore it wasn't related to the spiral zetsu?
