If Sage Mode increases the size of your jutsu's, wouldn't Gaara (If he had Sage Mode) be able to pull off a jutsu that is comparable in size to Hashirama's giant Buddha or is it that since Gaara doesn't actually create the sand with chakra (Like Hashirama does for his trees) that Sage Mode wouldn't really affect it since he's just manipulating it and not really producing it?

Im pretty sure garra can already do things the size of the budda, it would just make his sand slower if he had to move huge mounds of it

i think :S

I'm pretty sure he can't. Shinsuusenju is enormous.

I guess that depends on how easily gaara would control SM. Over time naruto grown to make huge FRS so i guess with time gaara would be able to control much bigger amounts of sand then he already has possibly reaching budda volumes.

I don't think Gaara would hit the size of the Buddha, that thing held Kurama like a toy in one hand. Maybe his attacks with be Bijuu sized at the most if he randomly acquired SM. But Gaara does not create sand, he manipulates it. Now he can create sand using minerals in the earth but that's a different process than what Hashirama does create Mokuton.

So Gaara would be able to manipulate more sand and create bigger techniques (his moves are huge already btw) but he would not be able to match the size of the Buddha IMO.

I don't think that was Buddha size, but it was still impressive.

I don't think people can comprehend how big the Buddha is. It literally made full sized Kyuubi look like a plush toy.

I don't think anything he's done is quite on the scale of Hashirama's Buddha, but Gaara has done some rather large-scale techniques.

Madara said that only he and Hashirama could change landscapes, but I'm pretty sure that while pursuing Sasuke, Gaara and Kimimaru changed a meadow into a desert with trees made out of bone. Plus, Shukaku's entire body is made of sand. He also saved his village by covering the entire place with a protective sand barrier. Most recently, he used his sand against the past Kage to make a tidal wave against his dad and a giant golden pyramid.

Gaara does in fact can generate the sand he uses. He carries a limited supply in the gourd on his back, and takes the rest from his surroundings. If there is no sand readily available, Gaara uses his sand to grind the earth into sand.

Yes Gaara can create sand, but not with his chakra like Hashirama does with his trees.

Compare the two pictures, look how Gaara's sand rises above the clouds(and he did this effortlessly just by raising his hands, imagine what he would do if he puts all his power into it) but Hashi's statue is below the clouds. And if you look and study the size of a village you will see that Gaara being able to cover it with sand is a pretty big achievement, which leads me to think that he can make things as large as the budha even currently.

Note that I would report any insults or naming directed towards me.

Thank you.

But that is with Shukaku -_-

Gaara NEVER used Shukaku's power in that fight, even his dialogue with Kankuro in the flash back proved that. Plus if he had used shukaku's power, he would have been possessed by the beast. This is a rather common misconception.

My bad then but still he took advantage of the desert around him.

Actually, in the latest chapters Gaara conjured two huge arms that were biju size in a rocky area with no sand in almost no time and all that when he was very low on chakra. Maybe I need to make those kinds of long posts to explain what Gaara is capable of.:)

I doubt he could reach that size. Shinsuusenju dwarfed a PS encased full-Kurama, it literally wasn't even close.
