It does appear that they're allowed to use deadly force if they believe they're in danger of unlawful serious bodily harm or death, or their home/car is being unlawfully entered, against a police officer. Though I would think that any case trying to use this has to be extremely black and white for it to work. I would imagine anything with a gray area in it will give the police officers the benefit of the doubt.

or it i will let the losing party darg the case for years. anyway i don't think there should be a law allowing you to shoot anybody at any situation, police officer or citizen. i wonder what the guy supporting gun usage thinks about being able to shoot the police "to save your life".

in the united states if you kill a cop even if they broke into your home or tryed to kill you are most likely going to do time if you shot them or killed them

This new law seems like a double-edged sword to me. On one side, it supports the citizens against the police state. On the other hand, it'll most likely cause a lot of drama/bloodshed on the field with ppl manipulating the law, making it work in their favor.
