Why Didn't Nagato/Pain Revive The Akatsuki Members Who Died?

Anyways, what I don't understand is why Nagato didn't revive the Akatsuki members after they died in battle. Zetsu is almost always watching their battles (even if he's not, he can travel underground extremely fast) so after the opposing forces left, he could've just recovered the bodies and deliver them to Pain. Just something that I've been pondering for a while....what's your input on this?

Konan- Not dead
Zetsu- Not dead
Kisame- Not dead

And Pain was defeated at the same time as Itachi, so he never knew Itachi died.

I mean by using the Naraka Path's ability to revive them one at a time. Not Rinne Tensei though. I forget the technique, but his ability chews up the dead body, and out comes a freshly revived person.

I didn't mean turn them into more Path's, just simply reviving them with Naraka one at a time....I also didn't mean inserting chakra receivers into their bodies so they could be controlled.

They weren't dead while Pain lived, therefor, he could not have revived them.
