Once you achieve Susano'o for the first time, then you can use it without your eyes. So far that is what has been shown.
It was never shown whether Madara learned Susano'o through his MS or EMS.

I guess plot saved Madara because Sasuke's Susanoo vanished itself against his will when he faced Kakashi, yet it doesn't happen to Madara? Or maybe it's because of the eternal effect of the Mangekyou. Only explanation that come into my mind yet

Itachi did it also.

Actually it did.

In the flashback where Hashi was talking to Madara you see that Maddy and Izuna are fighting together, and Madara has the first version of Susano'o (just the ribcage).

I always thought Sasuke was having trouble maintaining Susano'o because of the pain. That eternal theory sounds pretty good as well.

Those are two different situations though. That form of Space/Time is for incoming attacks, like Tailed Beast Bomb. I don't think he teleported something with that move that's not heading toward him.

Obviously, if they get tagged it'll be a problem.

I believe that type of Space/Time justu can be used to warp away Susanoo, or at least pieces of it. But only in a situation where the Susanoo user were to attempt to strike the FTG user. Although i don't believe it would be effective as Susanoo can regenerate. The way I see it, that justu can be used to warp away the head and instead of the justu being stationary it's moving towards the Susanoo from above.

What's keeping a FTG user from tagging a Susanoo?

Place a mark on Susano'o and teleport it away. There's also a psychological tactic. As seen with Madara being caught with Gaara's sand, they get kind of cocky in Susano'o. They kinda drop their guard of attacks spawning from inside Susano'o. Minato has shown to be able to teleport within a range of his seals. This is shown when he teleports baby Naruto to his home and the seal is across the room. Minato can throw a kunai at Susano'o, and using his impeccable timing that allowed him to dodge Raikage and land a hit on Obito, he could teleport within the range of the kunai right as it's about to get hit or touches Susano'o. This allows him to teleport inside of Susano'o behind the user and nail them with a Rasengan, or slash their necks with a kunai or even hit their head with a Rasengan.

Has it even been confirmed that Izuna had Susanoo?

If he had Susanoo, I promise you that a simple slice wouldn't of killed Izuna.

Izuna wasn't even marked, and he got cut down

Any FTG user with knowledge of Susanoo would know better to tag them before they go into Susanoo. Once you're tagged you can easily be ripped from it.

Any Susanoo user with knowledge of FTG would know better than to leave Susanoo and go into it immediately.

But I think a FTG user can warp away Susanoo since FTG users have warped away tailed beast bombs without tagging it.

if Susano'o is warped away the user can just spurn another one.

No Itachi still had some light on the contrary of Madara who bears no eyes

The Susanoo thing can be explained by this:

That explains literally nothing about Susano'o. Izuna hasn't been shown to have Susano'o, and unless he had Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi, he doesn't.

In that situation, time is of the essence and given how easy it is for them for teleport you away again it'll be useless.

I know Tobirama can teleport chakra along with the user. But that is about it. xD

First of all, Flying Thunder God isn't a direct attack so it's not like they're gonna run and use the jutsu. It matters on how the user uses the technique and what they could follow it up with. Take Minato for example, a strategists who always thinks before he takes action and plans 5 steps ahead of his opponent by making them take the bait. Almost like Chess.

Minato mostly uses this jutsu by making use of Kunai as well, which is why he was given the name "Yellow Flash" since he teleported around the battlefield defeating enemies in a second (No shiznit sherlock). He also scatters his Kunai as a way to catch his opponent off guard in any situation, always making them take the bait before appearing right where they would least expect it.

"How does this defeat Susanoo?"

Since Minato is a strategic thinker, his way of doing so could be him scattering Kunai along the battlefield which would allow him to both avoid any Susanoo attacks and also allowing a possibility of the Susanoo user going over one of the marked Kunai unknowingly. This could allow Minato to bypass their defense and possibly hit them with a Rasengan, blasting them out of Susanoo which causes it to disperse.

"That's not possible, the defense is absolute"

Yet he was standing on sand which got pass his defense, allowing Gaara to pull him out of his Susanoo which disappeared afterwards.

provide scans necessary if needed

Solo does tobirama defeating izuna ring any bells? susano'o takes STUPID amounts of chakra. You use ftg to dodge and wait them out. or you teleport them away

there are many ways for a FTG user to breach susano.. if a FTG user tags the user.. or even susano itself then its game over.. as its been shown countless time the FTG seal has a range.. if the seal is on susano then FTG can essentially teleport inside the susano delivering a blow to the user there is also the fact that if the user has been tagged they can be pulled from susano

Do you not read?

I said he hasn't activated Susanoo yet...

the scan explains how Madara used Susanoo without his eyes

The basis of Susano'o is Inton, which saturates the Uchiha's brain but may be projected through the eyes as jutsu such as Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. Susano'o however isn't projected identically to Amaterasu and Tsukuomi as they are solely based upon line of sight...in essence if they do not have a literal visual of the target the Jutsu remains inefficient. Susano'o however may be projected around the user to portions of their body where line of sight is impossible such as their back parts or the Sharingan's blind spot, highlighting why , in Itachi's case [ ] with both sharingan's inactive----in Madara's case----the eye's themselves are not actually necessary once you've acquired the jutsu. Similarly the Rin'negan has jutsu which do not solely stress on eye sight for proper function as Gakido or Ningendo. What was further elaborated is that either the Eternal Mangekyo's [Madara's case] perceptive ability----as it continues to grow until the user dies----or the Rin'negan's visual is able to see the Tenketsu as well as chakra types.

OT: Tagging Susano'o may just be futile as it can become ethereal at the users will and the tagged portion of chakra evaporated and replenished, also at will. The only way an FTG user is besting a Susano'o user is if they tag the user themselves, which is entirely subjective.

People claiming Izuna, the Second Mangekyo user didn't have Susano'o are only doing so fallaciously, that is Ad Ignorantiam.

I believe the Susano'o user would teleport along with their Susano'o. When Tobirama teleported Minato and Naruto - They went with Kurama's chakra.

GUYS this whole thread can be handled by this ONE QUESTION. Did izuna have susano'o? If he did, then thats an example of a susano'o user being roflstomped by a ftg user.

But we KNOW that izuna did because izuna and madara were equals. Madara only became clan head because he was older. This was STATED. Also we know that brothers have the same abilities (sasuke and itachi for example). If izuna and madara both activated their ms's around the same time (which we KNOW they did) and they both were equals (which we KNEW they were), then we KNOW that izuna had susano'o.

END THREAD
