Itachi the youngest Hokage. What could have been.

Itachi could have become Hokage as soon as he gained the MS.

He was already able to think like a Hokage at age 7 and once he got MS he was easily high kage level.

He would have been the youngest hokage ever and most powerful Kage of his time.

Hiruzen dropped the ball on that one.

whats so good about a Hokage's reasoning though? All the Hokage were trouble makers who didn't do anything to stop the trouble they caused in-advertently in their lifetimes. All kage do is fail actually . They fight good and have good battle prowess , but they fail at the Head of the Village position. Itachi using up his MS wouldn't allow him to last long . However he could discover Orochimaru & Danzo's deeds or even Tobi still and get the senju dna.

Kishi could make some interesting alternate storylines for the Naruto world into films .

Okay, because Gaara is 7 years old? and is from the Hidden Leaf? Who would have supported Itachi? Nobody trusted the Uchiha except the the 3rd and a handful of konoha

Konoha would have been too OP. He would have destroyed Obito when he showed up and would have taken Orochimaru to school.

Also if itachi was hokage there would of been know cou'de'tat further more he would of been able to make the leaf village stronger by having both uchiha and senju work from even playing fields 50/50 rule over the leaf however he would of died due to his disease. And also be one of the shortest reigning kage besides danzo . His face on the cliffs would have been the most idealised. This is all pure speculation but I agree it is fun to think of the many different ways the manga/anime could have gone. It would be sick if they did a tekkan stylized multiple endings depending on each seperate characters . Won't ever happen tho

No, You pointing out the differences to negate my point when you know its the same concept. I said Kage. weather it was a hokage or mizukage makes no difference. the fact is a kid could be hokage. He was seven when he reasoned as a child. he was actually gaara's age when he gained MS making him strong enough to be a hokage on top of his wisdom. so with that being said, his age would not hinder him. and everyone loved and adored the uchiha. the only one who didnt trust them was danzo. thats why the uchiha massacre is called a tragedy and not a blessing..

Itachi can make hard decisions though. He was able to kill his family for the village, yes it's controversial, but that's something the other hokage's wouldn't have done.

Itachi is more of a realist than the other kages, but he still has a kind enough heart to where he'll always put others, especially the village before him.

In my opinion he would have been a better homage than all others.

Kid Itachi wouldnt have been a good Hokage. Yes, there was potential. But at that age he would have tried to take everything on himself, which he did with Sasuke. Had he not been like that, then the uchiha coup would have been avoided. I wont say as a kid he would be deserving of Hokage, because there was still more to life that he needed to learn, but he definately had the potential had things not have gone the way they did. Maybe at the age he joined akatsuki he might've been ready, as long as he didnt have the mindset of taking on the burden alone, otherwise, Like he said to Naruto, he would have ended up like Madara.

He got MS the same year or so when he slaughtered the uchiha clan, which was also around the same time he joined akatauki. He is saying at age 7 he was able to think like a kage but later he had kage level skill. he was anbu captian at 13 so he held a high ranking office already. he was around that age when he joined akatsuki. So actually im agreeing with you on that point. i only disagree that his age would not have hindered him. he was 13-15 when he gained MS. 15 is about the age of gaara which is old enough to be a kage.

You have a point, Itachi did try and take on everything by himself. I still feel that he wouldn't be above asking for help when he needed it though. We can see that when he asked Obito to help him in the massacre.

So I still feel that he would be a great Homage.
