Actually Kakashi can also open gates but only shown the first gate so far. Actually, it is not really beyond her. She simply needs a teacher to teach her. She has a powerful will too, you know. Her willpower can be compared to Naruto. What she lacks is a powerful drive.
I think if she could somehow open the gates, she will develop some sort of medication to limit the side effects which could be very effective and extremely useful.
