That is pretty neat, the top 3 take on a new persona in order to achieve their goals and means by any means. Have you ever watched Darker Than Black? The main character is somewhat like that, he plays the role quite well too.

I haven't actually, but I just checked out the trailer. "Everyone Wears a Mask" and his speech about the world does sound a lot like a LeLouch or Light character, which is awesome! Thanks, I'm going to have to definitely check this show out! =D

Man, the classics are unbeatable. The emotions, the chars, the battles. We'll remember that forever, man, even if we don't remember the details.
These animes were so fun. And it was when a time in which I called everything "cartoon". Good old times indeed, Im getting a little nostalgic here.

That's why the classics win every tune, the nostalgia is just overwhelming

I think you'll enjoy them, I think past fillers have been giving people more closure with the Ame orphans. The fillers do a decent job at bringing out the Ame orphans tragic past and show them love but don't expect too much, fillers are fillers after all u_u

Akiyama Shinichi (Liar Game): Pulls off great plans and looks pretty cool doing it. He's not too cocky, and overall I just love his way of doing things. He doesn't go about things strictly logical, but tries to do the right thing at the same time (unlike his enemies). And he's smart enough to have the ability to do it too.

Johan (Monster): Another of my favorites as well.... and I believe Urasawa has great skill in hyping characters and events up. Johan is very cut off from what other people value, and it always feels like he lives in a different world. His actions and words speak for themselves... and the art-style in the manga really gives him appeal.
