[Discussion] Any good romance comdies (english dubbed) ?

Romance comedies are one of my favorite anime genres, and o course being that english is my native language I'd prefer if the anime is dubbed (only if the dubbing is good though)

School Rumble is by far the greatest romance comedy that I've ever seen. I frickin' love that anime, the dubbing is some of the best I've seen in anime and the plot isn't some cliche harem fan service,

Others I've watched are..
Clannad
Shuffle!
Baka and Test
Ouran Host Club

I'd prefer if the anime wasn't a harem but I'll watch it as long as it's good and in english.

So any recommendations anyone?

I'll keep saying this until someones watches this... Eureka 7 is one of the best romantic anime series and it has it's humorous moments. I highly recommend watching it as it's only 50 episodes and the animation is amazing for it's time. (still good even by today's standards)

Edit: Even the english dub. is amazing.

I to have been in your boat and was desperate to find an anime worthy to fill the void of school rumble that is when I found the gem that is.

Nagasarete Airantou it is a close second to school rumble, and I personally enjoy it.

I liked it enough to buy it even without finishing it. lol.

it is a ecchi but less then the level of baka and test so if you could handle baka and test this should be good for you.

ah! i just read that you didn't want it in sub. Mind you unless they got the voice of harima to play the lead I feel that the entire show would be a bust if they attempted to dub it.

just please try watching it in subs, i think you will like it, if not I am sorry.

Yeah man I've watched Schoo Rumble 4 times now and it sucks because that show is so unique and the dubbing fit the characters so well especially Harima and Tenma's voice actors but all in all everyone was great. I'm so sad that we'll never get a season 3..

I'ma check that show out, I'm not against subs I just prefer dubs. Most animes I watch are subbed because the english voice actors in alot of animes tend to suck.

school rumble was simply the best. I don't even really know if there will ever be an anime in that genre that can surpass it lol

Aside from Clannad, the only two I'm actually glad I watched are Lovely Complex and Toradora!. Unfortunately, neither of them has a dub.

Lmao no need to hate yourself, the art style makes all the guys look like females with their big shiny eyes and lips and it's just really weird lol. But I did like "Say I Love You" if you've ever heard of it.

Yeah I already watched Toradora, that anime is amazing. Taiga is my favorite Tsundere character !!
School Rumble is still the best though, the level of comedy in that show is so awesome, I have friends who don't like romance anime but love that show. Toradora has a much more satisfying ending though I will say that.

And thank God for it, cause the pre-credit ending pissed me off like crazy. XD

You oughta check out Steins;Gate then. It's a sci-fi thriller, but the romantic subplot is pretty good. Kurisu's my favorite tsundere, she's pretty awesome (and the dub is 100x better than the original).
