I see, thanks for the info - I guess if you hadnt told me, I would have never considered watching it, litterarly never
I have a really strange and discomforting feeling about hunter x hunter because of that - but I remember being very excited about it before that, and I noticed kishi had stolen many details from it
Kurapica was my favorite. Anyway thanks to you, I will give it another try and fill that hole it left in my heart.
No problem, and even after you watch it and feel like you didn't dig it, then the next arc is bound to throw the previous arcs out of the water. I am in the recent arc and its pretty intense, more than Naruto's war arc lol.
I think you should try either Darker Than Black or Yu Yu Hakusho. Darker Than Black is very short and very good IMO, the series can be confusing at first but once the pieces start coming together, you love every bit of it.

Well I will list a few that I have tried and saw it was awesome:
1. Fairy Tail - It is not complete yet in both manga and anime and as you progress watching it more mysteries come into your mind's curiosity but definitely worth watching. Here is the link
You must be registered for see links
There is about 175 episodes in the moment
2. Log Horizon - Cool anime if you like watching anime where there is a super smart ass guy that just always plan everything and work exactly as they did so go try it. Link here

There is about 17 episodes in the moment and on going
3. Zetsuen No Tempest -One of the works of William Shakespeare so I guess you know already how cool this anime is... anyway try it you wont regret. Link

There is 24 episodes in the moment
So that is the three I trust you won't regret by the way there is this one last anime I wanteed to share seems like I forgot the name, oh well... visit the review corner if you want good anime
So far I have watched only 1 anime that I consider to be better than Code Geass, and that is Fate/zero,so I think you should watch that.
Date A Live,Zetsuen no Tempest are also good.
Steins;Gate is a time-travel series with 24 episodes. The main cast includes...
Okabe, a self proclaimed mad scientist:

Who lives with 2 friends at start of the series, Mayuri, a sweet, harmless little girl:

and Itaru, a pervy super-hacker that spends most of his time on the computer or at maid cafes:

As you can probably imagine, the main character comes across with a "time-machine", and the resulting interactions with the device open new paths and problems for the group. Soon, more and more people are intertwined with the time-machine, and as the whole situation deepens... a turn-around event causes everything to go wrong. Okabe's decisions could save the people around him, and even the fate of the world.
My opinion:
Pros:
- Good characters and development...
- Great audio, including OSTs and Opening/Ending Themes
- Pretty good ideas for time-travel
Cons:
- "Boring" start
- Pretty weird plot premises, with genetic predispositions and how the "time machine" was made (maybe explained in the VN)
There's also a Steins;Gate movie but I haven't seen it yet x_x
Opening:
Other suggestions include TTGL (27 episodes) and Monster (74 episodes) but too lazy to expand on them right now x_x sowwy
